Not just you.... and to be honest even if I had he $ I'd rather have a smaller boat anyway..... and you get get something decent to get you fishing for 1/10th that cost
btw... I tried to fish yesterday morning. Figured it could be good before a strong front pushed through in the afternoon/ evening.... wind was forecast to blow but was dead calm at 8am, so I decided to take the kayak (havent used it in quite awhile) as I needed some exercise. No fish and wind started cranking and kicked my ass. lol
This thing is pretty badass: https://jerseyshore.craigslist.org/boa/d/brick-seacraft/7686747669.html but for economy purposes: https://longisland.craigslist.org/boa/d/bellport-renewed-hawk/7690762715.html https://southjersey.craigslist.org/boa/d/absecon-2008-sailfish-218-center-console/7696515261.html
Good deal if this is legit: https://longisland.craigslist.org/boa/d/brightwaters-key-west-bay-reef/7696969351.html
Hey, put my Daiwa Seaborg 5'6" Deep Drop rod out on EBay/FB for sale. Great DD rod for private boat, just not long enough for long range headboats. 60-150lb class rod, heavy action, 2 piece with long butt section. Package length 6'2". Blade length 50". $500 rod asking $400 and willing to ship. Pass it along to your buds down there who like to go Deep dropping.
No worries... I put it out on FB Marketplace and EBay too. Probably will get some interest come spring. Was hoping for some XMas action but its all good. Deep Dropping is my new favorite way to fish.
I don't mess with facebook, but if you can post it in the South Florida section, you'd probably get more traction....
I probably shouldve gotten one BIG one at this sale price but not sure when I'd use it, so I got 6 between 100-200G (not that I needed them )
My Jigs came yesterday. I'll be ready to deep drop SPJ as I have gear that can handle up to 600g jigs. All my ordered jigs were 400-450g
Ha, mine too.... but I realized I have a problem when I opened a box of 6 SP jigs (100-200G).... considering I probably already have 30+ what's crazy, I ordered mine a day earlier, and probably live 800 miles closer to the store. ha
