If he learns and sees these things he can make it happen. Aaron also has the power to make that call too. I remember the long play to Taylor, Aaron said in the helmet to Zach to throw the ball to Taylor…Aaron recognized pre snap and told Zach what to do. We need Zach to do that but he has time to see when and why Aaron does these things. So when it’s his time, he can hopefully see the play before it happens.
Idk if pre-season rules are different but the speakers are cut off with 15 seconds on the play clock. Maybe AR said it to ZW when he called in the play or maybe he was just wishing it into existence but I think what we saw was good HK editing.
It was definitely AR wishing it into existence. Preseason rules aren’t different, there’s no communication into the helmet after a certain amount of time.
Garrett Wilson is on NFL Network right now and he sounds absolutely miserable. About a five minute interview and the only time he smiled is when he started talking about his foundation at the end. Gotta feel bad for this kid.
it's rough to be really good on a bad offense so your stats don't reflect your performance which can cost you money since teams will use it against you in negotiations. GW is open quite a bit and even when he's not, he's the type you throw 50/50 balls to but we refuse to do it. hell zach threw a shit 5/95 ball in the buff game and GW still made the play
Drives me crazy. With the possible exception of Hall, the one true real NFL star level talent we've drafted and had on our offensein who knows how long, and not only are we suppressing his abilities, we're absolutely driving him away. He's the one guy I will follow to another team and hope they do well because of him.
Garrett is 7th in the league in targets with 120. But only 17th in the league in catches with 67. That means our QBs have only been able to complete about 55% to him (15% below average). Some of that is on the o-line though.
He does a weekly with Bart and Hahn on 98.7 every Tuesday at 2 pm. Last week was the worst i ever heard him. Not sure if it was because Ohio st lost to Michigan but he was super happy and upbeat just now with Bart. Guy is an A+ dude for sure
Well he thought he was gonna be catching passes from Rodgers, and perhaps have a breakout year. Can't fault him.
Makes you wonder how he would have felt if Wentz or Foles or Carr or...anyone of their ilk would have been brought in back in September.
I wouldn't be surprised if GW turns into Riggins/Moss 2.0. First few years in the league with the Jets then 10 more great years with Washington.
