I'm not talking about his performance, I'm not about his moves over the past couple of years, I'm not talking about anything other than that the wheels have come completely off with this organization. Locker room dissent leading to leaks, terrible play on the field, media and fan perception that the organization has done nothing at all to try and save the season… Obviously Coach Saleh has to be on the front lines and the GM usually does not address the media, at least not often. But at what point do we expect the GM to get in front of the press and say something? I feel like sometime over the past couple of weeks, and especially now with the way things have gone, maybe throw a little bit of a life preserver over to your coach who has basically been flamed incessantly and taken the heat for everything that's gone on. Maybe I'm thinking too far outside the box on this one, give me your thoughts.

There’s nothing for him to say. He drafted a bum QB and then surrounded him with a bum OLine. Then threw his hands up and signed Rodgers and all his washed up buddies and silver spoon OC versus paying some good durable OLine the money. So he nullified his drafting of GWilson, Breece Hall who could be studs with a competent QB and Oline.

Realistically what is he going to say, I screwed the pooch. I mean we all know, including the JJ bros., that in 5 years he has only managed to build 2/3 of the team and completely failed to build the O. What make his tenure tantmount to stealing, IMHO, Wood'y money is his initial pressers where he said you win with being DOMANIT trenches, imposing your will on others. From my perspective, the only thing he has accomplished is to become another "loser" GM in a long line of misfits and incomptent twits.
At least the others never tanked an entire season just because they couldn't admit they made a mistake. We've had to endure having no real backup plan to Rodgers because one man couldn't admit that he completely botched the #2 overall pick in 2021. How there aren't billboards up calling for this clown's job is a mystery for me. Douglas punting on 2023 is the worst act of malpractice by a Jets GM I can remember. It's worse than Idzik's missing on all 12 picks in that draft.
