Douglas has been trying to sign Rypien for a while. Clearly he thinks somewhat highly of him. Let's see the results of another Joe Douglas QB evaluation
The entire situation is ridiculous. They finally release an obvious bum after it's too late. Almost doesn't matter who they signed to replace him - it's an empty gesture that means nothing at this point. What a disaster this franchise is.
it's just been one of those things around the internet and makes sense. maybe it's not true but there has to be some reason he's stuck around for a while and most teams keep a guy like that on the roster or PS to help the better Qbs
Like Boyle Rypien is another Hackett guy I believe, right? And if so arguably another example case of the play-it-forward career favor stuff that keeps getting factored into our 2023 roster spot decisions. I keep rooting for the team to take a non threatening flyer on Will Grier every time he gets cut, and who at least had a pretty good looking preseason with Dallas this past summer. But alas.....
Man if I was the owner I’d be annoyed that Tim Boyle started two games for me. Makes it seem Ike they really don’t know what they are doing.
in what world is that? what is this dumb running joke now you switched too. making a casual statement thats not able to be proven but generally the accepted as true answer for years is a normal response.
This CS doesn't have final say over the final 53, and no other option was brought in anyway. This is on the FO. negligence like i've never seen flushing this season away.
I'm pretty sure Joe Namath in his current condition and at his current age would be an upgrade over Tim Boyle.
Probably dusting off the old "Zach Wilson is the best quarterback in this draft" videos for when he gets cut or traded.
