However, no one feels it more, on this site or anywhere else. In the old days when he was on overnights, after brutal losses I attended i had to stay up until midnight to take my medicine, and Joe always delivered, as painful as it was. Unfortunately as i've aged, I've mellowed and probably am too soft on the team when it stumbles which is most of the time. Joe B is my smelling salts.
As bad as he is, it really is hard to say he is definitively worse than his old man. Paul Hackett sucked as bad as ANY OC I have ever seen, and he had REAL TALENT on his team!

This is an awful take. Hack came in January. January. This before Rodgers even went to darkness retreat where he was 90% retired. Even if JD and Saleh thought there was a 10% chance it could help bring Rodgers, it was a super long shot at the time. They hired him because they thought he was good plus has an outside chance of getting Rodgers as a cherry on top. Well we got the cherry, but the cake itself sucks. That's on JD and Saleh, not Rodgers. The guys Rodgers recommended except Lazard are end of bench guys anyway. He most certainly didn't single handedly ruin the season, that's insane. The guy gives up 35 mil, takes the biggest pay cut in the history of NA team sports, then gets hurt behind shit OT JD brought and Saleh rolled out, works his ass off to come back in record time, and now he is blamed for all the JD and Saleh fuck ups. It is times like this, when darksiders like me thrive, that I love listening to Benigno because he thinks the same way I do. At times he can be a little much, he goes a little overboard on conspiracy theories, but as far as pure fandom, pure anger and frustration, there is no one better to listen to. He's a fan first, a talkshow host second.
He is the voice, of all non delusional Jets fans, you know the ones who don't show up to the stadium, every home game, like I don't even understand the point of going out to support, this trash. This is something I'll never understand. I don't give a crap if you gave an arm, both legs and your wife's arm to buy those PSL's and tickets. Some people still like it dude. I’m the same way, I don’t buy Jets gear for the most part, don’t really go to games and if I do, I’ll buy them after market for cheaper. But some dudes still like to pack the car up, grill with their buddies, have some beers and watch the Jets try.
