Don’t get me hopes up. We’re not getting the 2nd pick.

The J + J s need to suffer the embarrassment of an empty stadium...even tell Fireman Ed to stay home, save his retirement money.

but I have been posting this message for months and only now some people are hearing it :/

Yea it’s really a bad situation that the organization is being held hostage by a 40 year old QB coming off an Achilles injury who has only played four downs for the team.

I agree that getting him out of the building is the right move.

I’ve been saying this for years.

I think the NFLs shiny new broadcast partners are going to eventually demand better content.

    Interesting idea,

I'll check back with you in 4 years...if I'm still alive.

If Jets fans got their wish at the end of the season...

The NY Jets would be dissolved forcing Jets fans to become fans of another team.

    Who would you pick?
Or how about they packed up and moved to another city, would you follow them?

I think a lot of people would find a team. Like if heroin just stopped existing, all the addicts would find some other drug to lower the quality of their lives with.

Woody isn't going to blow it up if he cares about Rodgers coming back in 2024.

I'd settle for firing Hackett and hiring Josh McDaniels for OC.

Why did the Jets hire Hackett to begin with? I remember when his Dad was here under Herm. Just hearing the name Hackett send shivers down my spine.

Why would I want him to choose another GM? Until he either steps out completely and hires a true (and competent) football operations guy to run everything without interference, or sells the team, we will just continue to witness the exact same cycle.

    We got no shot.

I want Woody to sell the team as much as anyone but it's not happening. Joe Douglas has been a complete failure as a gm and has proven he can't put together a winning staff and roster. Charlie Casselrey even consulted with Woody and I believe he was the one who suggested Macagnan. Even a a loser like Woody throws shit against the wall enough times, something might stick.

If our only hope is throwing shit against the wall and hoping (and I agree that it is) we're done. We'd need to hope for far too many piles of shit to stick and it's just not feasible.

They don't need to dissolve or move. They are doing a good enough job driving people away without all that. Me, personally, I'd just adopt the local team, San Francisco.

At this point they need to try something. This is as good an idea as any however they aren't creative enough to think something like this then execute.

With us likely to lose most or all of our remaining games this year Marvin Harrison Jr would be a nice building block going forward.

With him, Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, and Tyler Conklin in place rebuilding our offense could work out well with a good general manager.

We really could use a good general manager.
