I know it’s a 2 second clip, but geez. I think I’ve seen a pop Warner practices with more intensity. This is not a new phenomenon either as beat writers have reported how soft his OTA and Training Camps are.

This could be a reason the team tends to get worse as the season goes on. Not a lot of in season development compared to other NFL teams.

I don't think this clip really shows anything, but there's no doubt Saleh is too soft with his players. The penalties and lack of accountability are enough evidence.

Discipline wins game. Discipline is a mindset. This team is NOT disciplined. Discipline, 100%, starts with the head coach and, to be quite frank, ends with the head coach as well.

It would be an interesting mission to find out who has done better, over the long haul, in the NFL. Player's coaches or the disciplinarian (see Bill Parcells). Some stat monger will take this one and run with it I'm sure!

Robert Saleh's handling of Zach Wilson is THE prime example. I'm trying to determine whether or not a kid like Zach Wilson would have even SURVIVED on a team with a coach like Bill Parcells. Probably would have gone a cried in a corner. The San Francisco 49'ers handling of Trey Lance is how it SHOULD be done. The Jets, a poster example of how not to.

There is NO accountability on Saleh's teams. "Now, Zach, you know you shouldn't throw the ball directly to the defender, right?" "Go stand in that corner for 15 minutes while you contemplate the lesson. What a joke.

    ZERO discipline period...

He reminds me a lot of Bowles. Saleh can coach defense, but he’s not a HC in the NFL.

    biggest problems:

    1) Completely clueless on offense

    2) Can’t assemble a good staff-nobody wants to work with a weak head coach and poor roster. Has to rely on “buddy hires”.

    3) Team lacks overall discipline, focus, intensity. Hallmark of a Saleh coached team is coming out flat. This team almost never gets out to a good start. Even in the Raiders game where they were gifted some opportunities early in the game they still found a way to screw it up.

I think being a player's coach can work, but you have to be an exceptionally strong X's and O's guy which Saleh is not.

Under Parcells, Zach would have lasted 2-3 games. Bill did not have that kind of patience.

I'm pretty certain that Zach Wilson would have never been drafted by a guy like Parcells. First off, Parcells was one of those guys, if could at all help it, wouldn't have drafted a QB with so little college experience.

That's something I'm pretty adamant about. If you haven't completed THREE FULL years of college, as a STARTING QB, you shouldn't be draft eligible. The C.J. Strouds are the exception not the rule and even he, at the very least, had TWO full years with a little of three. How many games did Zach Wilson start? Trey Lance? Richards over at Indy?

Bill Parcells thought all rookies were useless but he definitely didn't have any time for rookie QB's. You can definitely see why.

Yeah and it's been like this every season with him as HC. It takes ages for guys to get benched even when they consistently play terribly.
