https://www.youtube.com/shorts/DnQ029mm_iY?feature=share Aaron Rodgers has been the KoD from day one. He has the Jets by the balls and is the defacto HC/GM of the team. The guys he bought in with him are all stealing their gamechecks and at the top of the list, is Nate Hackett, OC extraordinaire. Rodgers had better play like MVP Rodgers when he finally gets back or Jet fans will run his ass outta town straight to Newark Arpt. along with all his pals. Honestly, I don't even want Devante Adams on the roster as that would make GW an afterthought. Mark my words.. Nothing good will come of this except perhaps a house cleaning once Rodgers and his merry men are all gone.
For real, Rodgers better play next year and play at a high level or I will hate that douche forever. His handpicked coordinator is terrible as is the “talent” he attracted to the Jets he’s probably gonna go on the punter show today and announce he’s not going to bother returning in 2023
Just finished reading an email article how Jets organization is a complete failure and smoke blown at fans. As I posted back in September we needed a backup and now this Sal guy from article says we should have had a vet backup in place behind AR months ago not "bench me Zach W!" Boomer is right JD has a lot of explaining to do...another GM "savior" bites the dust
This is what makes it so frustrating. As bad as Hackett has been, there are still plays to be made and the QB was just incapable of doing anything. https://x.com/BaldyNFL/status/1726677598632317045?s=20 https://x.com/NFL_DougFarrar/status/1726663006896214118?s=20
Why bother? I think he is realizing that he handcuffed himself to a burning dumpster and he's probably gonna be "with the team" less and less. There were ways to do this and it was done incorrectly from top to bottom.
Dangling AR's return in front of the team, like a carrot on a stick, "only if they are good boys and win" is in the process of backfiring. Out of contention, Rodgers won't force himself back, the team has nothing to play for and quits on Saleh.
I don't necessarily agree with this. The amount of shit that guy got for the covid stuff + the ayahuasca usage? You know he would love to shove it to everyone and be the fastest to recover from an achillies.
Hackett's been pretty bad but as many have said, at this point we're stuck with him. Hopefully we see an improved version of the offense with a different QB on Friday but I'm not holding my breath.
Back shoulder to Ruckert and it’s a big gain and atleast a good read + incomplete. Breece dump off was incorrect too. But you hit ruckert every time.
the 2nd one was bad. he had ruckert wide open right away. was actually a well designed play to scheme a guy open the 1st one baldy is way off though. he even says it's supposed to be a screen. on a screen you either throw it if it's there or dirt it. the bills sniffed it out and jumped it. zach dirted it. it's the right decision. Baldy should know better. We've all already had this discussion weeks ago when zach tried to extend out a screen that was broken and how dumb it is.
When there's a screen pass you gotta throw the football. There are too many examples of Wilson holding onto the ball when it is a designed screen. You get sacked or cause an ineligible downfield penalty, both of which happened a lot. That's just dumb QBing. And dumb Qbing is why Wilson will be inactive the rest of the way
If he didn't have the IQ of a doorknob he would have seen the defenders back and seen he could have just ran up the HBs ass for 20 yards. That was the point. The extension of the other play was a dumb conversation because he was trying to throw it with men down field. This completely is different. I don't really care what you respond to this because you will just defend him and say you know more football than everyone else here so don't even bother.
when he dirted that pass he was just being a lazy asshole. There was lots of room to run and/or a pass catcher right in front of him
Screens are timing plays with 0 other options. safe easy plays for QBs. it's either a short pass or throw away if he tries that it's a 99% chance it's called back on an illegal man up-field. looking at the video and I can't tell 100% because the quality but becton and 1 other lineman were already upfeild. had he not dirted it, it's called back anyway. again baldy should know better but he wants clicks from angry jets fans. if zach tries to take off, it's illegal man downfield there and called back anyway.
Didn’t know a running play would be an illegal man downfield? I guess that’s what baldy and I are missing
