Yeah Rodgers will take us from a bad team to a decent or good one but we still won't be very good or great.
It also delays the inevitable of having a gaping hole at QB. We also have three fifth year options to pick up soon.
Could be. But do really believe at this juncture AR wants to give it a shot next year unless the front office, who is rapidly loosing all credibility, is able to fix the team with enough talent and actually coach that talent properly. I lost all faith.
You know…I’ve been feeling that both JD and Saleh were safe once AR went down. And still may be true. but we all know Woody and his reactionary nature, especially as he has proven MANY times over and over that he has NOT A SINGLE FUCKING CLUE about football…that’s been clear … just look at his hires. But now I’m sensing that the team is kind of imploding…we saw the fights, we heard about the tunnel fights after the game, we saw the defense just give up, we saw the continued shitshow on offense…it’s getting beyond embarrassing. And now we have Friday on national TV….which is looking to be a fucking shit show. Do I think Boyle is going to put up enough points to beat Miami? No fucking way. This may very well be worse than last night or Dallas was. And it’s on national TV. It would not surprise me to see Woody bow to outside pressure - fans, media, you name it - and blow it all up again. Hard to say, because we do owe AR a ton of money, but who knows what can happen…still 7 games left right? With our offense, I think it’s doubtful we put up 7 more TDs the rest of the way, let alone win a bunch of games. This could get very ugly. And the uglier it gets, the harder it’ll be for Woody to not make massive changes…
well were kinda handcuffed. like you said this is all tied to rodgers who fully intends to play next year. won't be any major changes until he retires
They should pay the owners a percentage of their team wins. The Jets owner would never make any money so hopefully he would sell and get out. Just think they view the Jets as a status thing. Say what you will about Al Davis he loved his team and only wanted to win
Agree with a lot of what you posted. However, as much as I wish Saleh and Douglas would go, Woody will likely keep status quo until AFTER 2024. He will want to see what Rodgers brings in 2024 if he lasts more than 4 plays. He'll keep them and Hackett thru 2024 and reset from there. I CAN see Woody firing Saleh and Douglas the day after the 2024 season if they lay another egg in 2024 (likely with Douglas and Saleh).
This is true but it also still sucks because Rodgers helping this team (which he will) won't change the fact that JD and Saleh are mediocre or outright bad at their jobs. It'll be typical Jets for the HoF QB to fool our dumb owner into thinking they aren't though, which will likely delay what must be done (firing JD and Saleh).
Seriously, talk about a bad team to run into on National TV right now. Hated first place division rival who’s as good at scoring point as we aren’t.
Seriously? Tell me you don't really believe every self-serving thing anyone says. Stop with the childish personal crap.
