Probably because it takes at least 24 hours to figure out how to twist reality into a situation where one can make Zach look somewhat decent.
I'd like to believe it, but I'll only believe it when I see it. Although it's somewhat funny that, after spending all season telling us how much better he was and how he was not the only reason they lost after games where he was the primary reason and most of the rest of the team played well, that they actually bench him when quite literally the entire team was playing like crap.
He sucks No doubt But we have a lot of problems in addition to him Our OL and WR groups suck too A better QB will make both of those look better than they’ve looked no doubt, but our other QB suck as well…
I think we’ll see Boyle and Siemian on Friday. ZW might even be inactive. We might have just seen ZW play his last down as a Jet.
And fuck everybody here who told us since the summer about the road to the Super Bowl and castigated those with reservations about compliance.
I wish, but I doubt it. Like the villain in a horror film, Zach Wilson will come back for one last scare.
I expect to see ZWilson on the injured list this week. Probably from the play where he ran out of bounds and was body slammed to the ground. I also think Saleh should have been flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play but he has been tested a lot by the "kid" this year.
Seems like just yesterday Zach was showing all the guys just how close he can get to Justin Bieber without getting shot, and now this. No, it seems like a million years ago, actually.
We all know what should have happened this past off season. White should have been re-signed or another halfway decent QB brought in to be the number 2. Zach should have been waived and maybe would have been picked up by someone. If not, he'd be on the practice squad. As soon as Rogers got here he began talking about working with Zach, and Zach taking over for him after he retires. Clearly that was part of the discussion when everyone flew to California. We may be tied to Zach for as long as we're tied to Rogers due to simple willful ignorance. Seems like they forgot all about his benching and being demoted to third string last year.
I don’t think White was ever resigning here, report are he wants a chance to possibly start/have a future if the guy he’s backing up goes down. I know Rodgers ended up getting hurt, but at the time he was something of an iron man. Plus idk that we could have paid ZW/Aaron/White all at once. speaking of ZW, Costello said a few weeks ago on the pod that if they bench Zach, they may cut him. Idk if he meant seasons end or theoretically tomorrow, but anyone buying they do so this week or in-season?
I'm cracking up like crazy about "Saleh should have been flagged" LOL, I needed something like that after the "game" we watched.
Say what you want about how much he sucks (and he does suck), but for a short time until the suck bled through, the offense looked far less disjointed. He also showed that despite his exceedingly high level of suck, he processes what's happening faster than Zach and gets rid of the ball more quickly.
