Agreed. Geno Smith's tenure with the Jets was infinitely better than anything Zach Wilson could have ever dreamed of doing with this team.

He doesn't have a chance half the time because he can't read a defense. One of his first audibles was a run into 9 guys in the box for negative yards. Further, no one is calling for Zach to be benched solely because of his performance in this game. They are doing so because almost every single QB that has played over the past three seasons instead of him has played better than him with the same players, same play calls, etc. He should be benched because he has played like ass for 90% of his snaps (and that might be a generous evaluation). He has million-dollar physical talent and a 5-cent brain.
