Im assuming "Resor" is a wreck? When I was up over the summer we had a shot at one probably about that far off... maybe 8 miles off Rockaway, by the tankers waiting to enter the harbor. About 80-90' of water. Hopefully theyre still there, but forecast isnt looking kind.... id be happy with a slot sized inshore striper as a consolation prize.
