He's the reason we lost last game. If he doesn't hold on that TD, the game is at least tied at the end, so they would have just needed a FG to win instead of a hail mary.
I think you need to take another look. Conklin was in position where the ball was thrown to, Wilson came from five yards away. When he flew into the play he knocked Conklin and the defenders off the ball, but not enough to get it himself. Wilson could see Conklin in front of him, Conklin could not see Wilson coming from his side. Maybe Wilson would have gotten the ball if no one else was on the field. I don't understand how you can fault anyone on the play. Surely you're not trying to say that Conklin should defer to Wilson, are you? It's over, the horse is dead, put the stick down.
Agreed. There are SO MANY other problems with this offense from the players to the coaches to JD and possibly the owner, that arguing about a failed desperation pass at the end of the game and who's fault it was it pointless.
God forbid we get another red zone opportunity and actually score a TD. This is now too much to ask. Jebus
Yep, we have such low standards. Now a days getting 1 TD is a huge accomplishment. I can't even comprehend 2 or 3.
