I mean what do you really want him to do? Yeah some play calling were questionable but just like any play callers, you get some success and some unsuccessful. Hackett frees ZW vs Chargers with hurry up offense and ZW dumped shit, where many say let ZW loose. If you watched two crucial plays call that could have resulted a TD, ZW over thrw Lazard where Rodgers was disgusted on missed opportunity, and GW missing Lazard threw the ball OB. I mean those were two right play class. I get we have scored a TD in 34 possessions but to me it’s not all on Hackett.
Zach is what he is at this point. The INT at the end of the game is just the latest example of that. But he did make some nice throws/plays last night and the Jets moved the ball between the 20's. This team continues to shoot themselves in the foot constantly with penalties. The holding call on Crosby negated the TD. A TD there and maybe the game ends differently.
It’s funny and sad that that’s the part you key in on, but not throwing 40 times a game which is a major part of the issue. Even with this OL and the trash receivers, a QB and OC change could right the ship. If they were able to score a touchdown (maybe 2 on occasion) a game they’d have a good chance to win most of the time with the way the defense is playing. For this franchise, yea, 4-5 is probably season over. Las Vegas fired their coach, changed their QB, and they’re on a 2 game winning streak.

I mean we tried running. Breece didn’t do much. If anything, Hackett should have given the ball more to Cook, I dunno. I mean to blame it all on Hackett in offense woes is kind of silly when Rodgers went down and our OL has gone through shuffles and injuries. And yet you got ZW, Boller and Seiminin as you QBs options? Really?
If the new coach won't be allowed to sit Zach either there's nothing to be gained by firing Saleh imo.
Running game is atrocious too. It's a lose lose situation for us fans. Maybe someone else can call plays at least? Hack is clearly incompetent. I thought he was better than MLF, but he is even worse, even worse than Gase. A lot fans were calling to bench Uzomah and play Ruckert instead. If that happened we probably win today. I was hoping Hack's performance in Denver was one off. Unfortunately it is where he is at now in his career. Perhaps someone else calling plays will give a small spark just enough to squeak by some of these teams.
I don’t actually think Salah should go during this season. Hacket absolutely should. The offense in its current state beyond embarrassing.
