I hated when they signed him. I hated it when Douglas restructured him. And I hate seeing him on the field. Can't block, can't run a route, can't catch...the only thing he knows how to do is hold.
Conklin just had the defensive play of the game by stopping Wilson from catching that jump ball in the endzone.
I thought G Wilson batted, but yeah Conklin stuck his hand up and kept him from grabbing it. It shouldn’t have come down to that play though.
I think you should take another look; it was Wilson who came flying in and knocked Conklin, who had position on everyone, away but even then Conklin got a glove on it. You can't fault anyone for trying to make a play on that ball.
Conklin and JR are better yet he is getting more snaps and he was horrible today. Cut him end of season please

It's criminal that this coaching regime has kept Uzomah in. He does nothing positive enough to overcome even an occasional holding penalty and last night was sick.
We’ve gotten jobbed several times on some of these calls to be fair to him. But he does suck. He’s slow as shit and useless other than as a blocking TE3.
The only video I can find is fuzzy and has a bad angle, but it looks like Wilson bats the ball down in it. Even from that angle he still has the best shot at the ball. He went up way higher than everyone else, had a good angle, and has better hands than Conklin. I don’t fault Conklin for making a play on the ball, I just wish he hadn’t. There’s another angle where it looks like it hits Wilson’s hands and Conlkins hand appears to be between and behind Wilson’s, knocking the ball away when his arm moves forward. At least it looked like that to me. Someone will probably see it better in the all 22.

Make a play? Watch replay again and tell how much Conklin’s feet left the ground. Not sure what he’s trying to do there either jump up and go after the ball or get out the way Wilson would have had that ball! Again not that it should have come down to that play.
Trust me, Uzomah will be the next useless benching/cut. They’re gonna go through every single offensive player before they turn on Zach.
