Oh...we looked like dogshit? Whatma surprise... More than 50% predicted a win?... Classic delusional thinking
You're all blaming Zach, but the Jets must have dropped 7 or 8 passes, including a couple of drops by GW. The Jets had 4 pre-snap penalties. What else am I missing? The playcalling was totally predictable and didn't play to the QBs strengths. I'm not saying Zach was good, but it was a horror show by this offense. Do they practice during the week? What does Hackett do all week? Does he say: the game plan last week really sucked, so let's try something different; something more creative; some trick plays. Some rollouts. Some designed QB runs. More play action. It doesn't seem like it. It seems like he says: "we're getting closer to being great,so let's try the same thing as last week, but we'll do it better this time." Why start throwing long passes deep in your own territory with less than 1 minute to go in the half? Why do this when your offensive is completely inept and your team is still in the game and your team gets the ball to start the next half? You can't just blame Zach.
Does Quinnen move around on the line at all? They were talking about his lack of sacks (still playing great) and asking the staff to get him in one on ones made me think I don't recall them ever doing anything creative with him. Lot of the top rushers move around the line
Most of that starts with the Head coach unfortunately and the one we have is a high five every guy before the game cheerleading mascot can’t make changes during the game lame duck
I can't wait to see the "official" whoops and poops this week so I can find out what really happened in the game that looked terrible to me.
My brother said he got a bunch of cows (alot of fun), then scored 2 slots on their way in sight casting yozuri plugs on boils ALOT better than the JETS game
If Clemens falls on the ball, we get a field goal. If Zach hits Wilson on that pass in the fourth quarter that he overthrew, he's probably gone for a touchdown. If Zach runs for it on 3rd down instead of dumping it off to Carter where he was blocking we probably get a field goal. The Jets have scored something like 3 touchdowns on a boat load of possessions in the last bunch of weeks yet all were 1 play drives. Is there a team worse than us in the red zone?
Also, there was one drive where they were in FG range and then 5-yard penalty and sack took them out. Another opportunity wasted.
