Sam did have a more difficult situation, both because he never had a good GM until the end of his time with the Jets, so he never had much talent around him, but also because of Sam. He never should have been drafted by the Jets. He regressed badly his last year at USC and while he may be bigger than Zach, he doesn't have the arm talent, athleticism, or overall ability of Zach. In terms of the t-shirts, that's ancient history. Things have changed a lot. Quit living in the past. You knucklehead fans can trash Zach all you want and think what you will, but I'll take the word/opinions of NFL and ex-NFL players over a bunch of guys on a Jets' fan site.

Rodney Harrison has no business what’s so ever behind a mike with a media badge and respected by his peers is a stretch. He was pathetically out of line on a public forum with those comments about Zach. I can only imagine the backlash if he said something similar about say Love or Fields.
I didn't say all of his peers, but enough of them do. Rodney Harrison is a POS. I couldn't care less what Willie Gay and Rodnery Harrison think.
Ha ha. Well I guess I don’t know who to believe. Two time super bowl champion Rodney Harrison or some ‘rando’ on a jets forum (to paraphrase you). Anyway. Who cares. All in good fun. Let’s see how Z boy does tonight. Let’s go JETS!!!
they aren't even peers really. peers would be current NFL players, not commentators and sports hosts who's job is to get views/clicks https://nypost.com/2023/10/02/lebron-james-sends-supportive-message-to-jets-zach-wilson/ https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/09/14/jets-zach-wilson-teammates-full-support-aaron-rodgers-injury https://www.on3.com/pro/news/garret...-support-zach-wilson-as-starting-quarterback/ https://arrowheadaddict.com/posts/zach-wilson-earns-well-deserved-respect-kc-chiefs-players
I don’t care whether it’s peers, former players, current players, never been players…. If their take is that Zach is awful, they’re right.
From what I've read seems like the Jets will try and trade for him in the off season. as I would like to keep all our picks this year. What do you guys think gets this trade done?
hard to know, especially as the Raiders may be getting a new HC and GM, so anything now is pure speculation Also hard to know where we’ll be…as much as we all think AR is coming back along with JD and Saleh, who knows what can happen? This team could implode, Woody could see a billboard and fire everyone, AR may decide that he actually doesn’t want to come back after all (though I think his ego will prevail and he’ll want to come back and be the savior)… But regardless…just so many variables. We need our draft picks to draft like 3 OL at least, we have a bunch of free agents that we need to deal with, etc.
Adams will still be owed 40 million guaranteed and due over 25 million next year. These days you draft WRs and only sign expensive vets when your a SB team.
Too bad we didn't draft Dawand Jones he was there for the taking. Man how I would love to draft Brock Bowers but IDK how that would be possible with all our holes.
