Would Adams want to be here? Why? Rodgers is 40 coming off a torn Achilles, he’s got one season left and who knows how that season is gonna go. After that we have Zach, and I can’t see a guy who was on a HOF trajectory prior to being subjected to playing with terrible QB’s wanting to tie his remaining prime years to a kid that can’t play a decent full game of football. The only way we’re getting another quality WR across from Wilson is the draft.
I don't think Adams will wind up a Jet, but it won't be because Adams doesn't want to play with Wilson. Players in the NFL have a lot more respect and appreciation for Zach than his own fanbase does. All you goes stating the things that Zach "can't do" are full of it. He has done them before, and he will do them again. Just because it's been a while doesn't mean that he can't, but rather he hasn't for whatever reason. I don't know of any other QB who has had to overcome the shitty mishandling and crappy coaching that Zach has had to overcome.
Actually Sam Darnold comes to mind as far as a more difficult situation. His situation 10x worse than Z. Z been gifted pro bowl worthy WR and RB and an absolute monster defense that gives him favorable field position regularly. And of course even Sam outperformed Z (actually would be curious would we would look like with him at helm this season). And yeah jets players have so much respect for Z they literally custom made tshirts hailing their new qb the nanosecond Z got hurt. Also is it not telling that both Josh Johnson and Mike White basically walked in off the street and outperformed Z by 2X with same system/situation? Anyway to get back to the post - why do we need another pro bowl WR when our current QB cant even get it to the one we already have on our roster? I mean i guess its a play for next year, but who knows.

What in the world has Zach shown to prove he’s the QB to get him there? Are you insane? Garrett Wilson is an absolute stud of a receiver and he has one 100 yard game this year 7 games in. He’s 32nd in the league in total receiving yards. The kid is a fucking stud and open often. One game out of 7 with 100 yds, 2 total receiving TD’s in 7 games. Only 2 games overall playing with Zach Wilson where he even broke 100 yards. But yea, Davonte’s got mad respect for Zach.
