An OL move in NY: Jets bolstered their offensive line, signing two-time Pro-Bowl guard Rodger Saffold III to their practice squad with the intent to promote him to their active roster, per source. Saffold last played with Buffalo in 2022. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 31, 2023

He surrendered 30 pressures in 2022, the most on the team, while allowing four QB Hits, tied for second-most on the team.”
why trade a sixth round pick for a 25 year-old starting caliber guard when you can sign a 35 year old veteran who was so bad last year he didn’t have a job until now?
We'll see how he does. Someone has to line up at guard. Since they aren't making a trade you kinda have to expect someone with warts at this point
I take it he wasn’t a recent pro bowler? Any chance he was banged up last year and that’s why he was lousy?
