Was it "unbelievably lucky" or did they work on it in practice after they fucked it up a couple of weeks ago? I forget which game it was... I don't know... but it wouldn't surprise me.
Exactly how I felt. I had to conjure up joy from thinking how absolutely horrible and devastating that loss would have been. Unfathomable. We're all celebrating *not* having probably the worst loss of our franchise - of which there are many to choose from. Let's encase this game in lead, and bury it. It has a half-life of 500 years.
I'd have to see the All 22 to know the answer, but I feel confident in saying that: A) There probably was on at least a few plays. B) If there wasn't he should've just gotten rid of it OOB or in the dirt rather than trying to pay "Hero" or whatever he was thinking. Based on the stats, he's a Top 5 QB when he gets rid of the ball in2.5 seconds or less, and a bottom of the league QB when he holds onto it. Shouldn't that tell him something? I forget who said and posted it here somewhere but his mantra needs to be "Read. Snap. Act", and not try to extend plays by scrambling backwards. "Acting" can include deciding to run upfield right away if there's no one open, and he's capable of making yards with his legs, but there again, he waits too long to do that. "Read. Snap. Act".
Lots of talk about the spike. Boomer claims it should never have happened b/c the back judge never spotted the ball. Others have refuted that b/c he ran in, tapped the ball, and got out of the way. To be honest, I could care less about the semantics of the spot. That said, I do have one question, is Malik Taylor offside (top of screen) by holding his arm through the neutral zone? I watched the video and he didn't pull it back when the ball was snapped. I don't think I've ever seen it called but just wondering what the ruling is. A flag there would have been the most SOJ thing ever.
Ugh, we've sat through sone devastating losses, but this almost feels like a tie for Shitzville. You want to hear something hilarious that I just heard on the radio? Saquon Barkley's Dad was wearing a Jets jersey at the game yesterday. I almost spit out my water. That can be interpreted in so many different ways but still funny as Hell.
seebdenverv #5 looks in neutral zon gmfb had a blurb about the missed FG. #99 leapt over the center. DId he distract grHam Gnope?
only the all 22 really shows.... AGain...watch Hilites of kc loss and tell me 15 doesn't hold on too long
Neither of these 2 teams that played yesterday are remotely close to a playoff team. Yesterdays game set football back to leather helmets...
Question....why was it bout on par w comeback in Cleveland by flacco.... Pretty meaningless. Our ol is still hot garbage. Turn all the anti Zach bile vs owner and gm and you are on to something
2 crap teams equal shitfest.... Yet most of the news is how bad jets are while ji ts are 2 -6 maybe we should be at up on breece hall for his 1.7 per carry, too?
Heard them talking about it to. Boomer I believe is wrong, if the ref taps it, it's good to good. A lot of credit to the center for making that play. The giants should have been called for an offsides but obviously didn't happen.
I didn't hear from Tobin yesterday. He probably choked on his own vomit at 00.01 left in regulation and I almost joined him. I didn't hear from you yesterday, either. Glad to hear you're still upright, my friend.
Yes, Zach did win the game at the end, but he nearly blew the game on the previous drive. They were lucky to even get the ball back after that KT sack that Zach basically caused himself instead of getting rid of the ball.
