He's immune to mid-game benching. Happened to virtually every single Hall of Fame QB - even well into their careers - when they simply did not have it, but not Zach Wilson. He's beyond that because either the GM wants to make it look like he's not a failed pick, or the kid's psyche is so fragile that he'd never be able to recover from such an "insult."
If your looking for evidence as to how that happens refer to how anybody let him keep going after the Patriot game.
Here's a stat that should make us feel good: Another: "The Jets are 3-12 when quarterback Zach Wilson has to throw more than 26 times." Wilson has thrown 24 times in this game so far.
Joe Douglas is making the classic error of thinking you're doomed if you admit you made a mistake. It isn't making mistakes that get you fired, its doubling-down on mistakes that gets you fired.
Well put. I remember Roger staubach and Terry Bradshaw getting benched in their careers. If this guy is so soft that a benching will destroy him he needs to find another line of work. (Which he needs to do in any case)
There's a big time throw by Zach! Hell of a catch by GW. I'm sure because I'm typing this out they're gonna overturn it though lol
