Ratings don't lie. https://x.com/ProFootballTalk/status/1714379978249224348 https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/26-million-watch-jets-beat-eagles 26 million watch Jets beat Eagles Football Night in America host Maria Taylor has suggested a couple of times in recent weeks that the Jets might be the new America’s Team. And she might be right. Sunday’s Eagles-Jets game generated more than 26 million viewers in the late-afternoon window on Fox. Per the Jets, it’s the most-watched game of the year, dropping a pair of other Jets games to No. 2 and No. 3. Frankly, it’s hard to keep track of the various weekly network P.R. boasts of most-watched this and most-watched that. Regardless, it’s clear that the Jets are delivering this year, even without Aaron Rodgers playing. Imagine what the numbers will be if/when Rodgers returns. The folks at Amazon are surely hoping it will happen on the upcoming Black Friday game between the Dolphins and the Jets. Even if he doesn’t, the number will still be big, unless the Jets crater between now and then.
I don't see Rodgers coming back this year. 40 years old rehabbing a torn Achillies. Even if by some miracle he does come back it won't be until late December at the earliest.
Jets have been part of 3 of the most incredible games in 6 weeks. I will be be pissed if they flex out Vegas vs Jets SNF for SF v Jax or Detroit @ Chargers
I don’t see them doing that the Jets and the Raiders have a storied rivalry themselves. That’s only 3 weeks away no?
I bet you that number is surpassed Sunday night for the Dolphins @ Eagles….it’s being called a super bowl preview and all of the football shows are hyping it up. Should be a good game I’ll be watching…let’s go Eagles. LOL
How good is Miami. They are 5-1 but look at their wins. 2-3 Chargers, 1-5 Pats, 1-5 Broncos, 1-5 Giants, 0-6 Panthers. That is a combined 5-24 record of teams they have beaten. The one good team they faced (Bills) they got destroyed. I am not saying they aren't good but maybe the media should pump the brakes on them being a legit Super Bowl contender.
and unlike the Chiefs game, the Refs let the players decide instead of the usual inconvenient penalty flag to give the favorite the victory.
I don't know, dolphins have a incredible offense, should be a great game. A team nobody is really talking about, that I've been watching, and pulling for, is that Lions, I think , without something catastrophic happening, could be the team to beat, in the NFC
Detroit has built a really good team. Most people are talking about the 49ers or Eagles representing the NFC in the Super Bowl, but the Lions are a team to watch.
He Heck, they gave them a TD after "deliberations" of a fumble that wasn't a fumble and one ref placing them short of the goal line
I have a good friend from Michigan who’s a huge Lions fan. The Lions are like the Jets - the other shoe always seems to drop - but yea I’d like to see them win too.
I'm surrounded by Eagles down here in southern Delaware and finally beating them was so sweet and I'm surprised my Jets garden flag is still there.
true but to be fair, they beat those teams up pretty bad…not like they eased out wins still, it’s a good point and their schedule hasn’t been as rough as ours
I know we all live in only Jets world but I still think as a whole the Jets fan base is pretty positive compared to others. I can be as negative as anyone about them but when the season starts (even in years when we were starting fucking McCown) I think we can surprise some people. I doubt the Lions and Bears fan of the world think that in their dark years. Hopefully the whole Rodgers thing next year doesn’t derail us. We don’t have a lot of cap space or draft picks but we have an awesome core of young players that should be pretty much peaking next year.
I can't help but pull for them, I'm a sucker for abysmal franchises lol It's a great story, none the less, Detroit has suffered long enough I actually got to meet Greg Landry , he had a house in Kennebunk, ME , truly humble guy, for the longest time he's was the only notable QB whoever played for the lions
