If Quincy can play at this level for the rest of his career, the Jets may have to retire this number.
Let this serve as a reminder that some draft picks that seem like good picks at the time do not pan out, while other players just develop differently. A good GM isn't just good because he hits on all his picks. A good GM hunts for other players who can fill the gaps left by the draft dissapointments who we love to call "busts".
Agree…he’s definitely balling out But its also more than that He seems to be the spark plug bring the energy guy for our D It feels infectious too Kwon brought that last year and I was bummed when we didn’t resign him, but Quincy has stepped up and filled both the on the field actual play role as well as the bring the energy role Great signing by JD for sure, just like Huff was
Would be pretty funny to see a bunch of drunks bonking the head of the dude sitting in front of them.... "HERE COMES THE....BOOOOM!
Aside from his obvious plays, he's really impressed me with his football IQ. He's understanding his reads, & what the O is trying to do, & putting himself in great position to make plays. If you watch him presnap, he's very active communicating to other players... he's become like defensive QB2, behind CJ. .
Indeed, he always had the pgysical talent but this year he has the mental side nailed. Also, he could be the fastest (not sure) LB in the league... watch him cover people...
Quincy has really upped his game from last year. Fast & decisive... always around the ball. That tackle on Devonte Smith at the end of the game was a textbook thing of beauty. Funny... when he was picked up off waivers I figured it was a favor to Quinnen. Quincy has not only earned a spot on the roster... he's one of the most dynamic players on it.
it’s his growth and coaching/scheme. If you hear Tony Adam’s post game interview he said the coach told him the int would come and that he didn’t really have to think about it. saleh in all honesty doesn’t get enough credit for his defensive mind
Let’s go….Quincy became the afc defensive player of the month!!! https://x.com/richcimini/status/1720111431733936256?s=21&t=ZxkKw_QlTKNq25XujLXmOw
As much flak as Saleh gets (ALOT is deserved) I'm giving him some credit for Quincy's development.... and I do LOVE reminding my friends that are JAGS fans that they cut this guy.
