Their DL wasn't premiere with Carter out. They've regressed from last year and Riddick was really their only stud. But the o-line penalties in the red zone every time is killing us. As soon as we get a holding or false start I know were likely not getting a TD. I cant even blame Zach for the red zone woes because our line constantly puts us in a long situations.
sweat had some nice plays and carter when in was running over schweitzer. our line degrades when Q is taking a snap off too. thats pretty normal.
the lions block came running away from the end line. thats why it was legal. lazard was running towards the end line making it illegal.
It does come off a bit condescending when you say things like, "how about listening and learning. I'll explain it." As you've said, that's not a violation of board rules but I can see how that could come off as arrogant and antagonistic to some. I like to give you, and other posters, the benefit of the doubt and assume that it wasn't meant to be taken that way but everyone will read the words posted on this board in their own way based off of multiple different factors and it's very hard to gauge intent when reading words as opposed to hearing words spoken. I think a better way to get the information across would be to post a link to the rules and highlight where and how it's a violation of the rules. That way they can clearly see the rules and your interpretation of them. I genuinely like to believe that everyone on here would be willing to change their opinion when presented with information that easily refutes their original opinion but no one is going to budge if they feel like they're being attacked, regardless of how "valid" that attack may be. I would like to address this to everyone as well, this isn't my board, this is OUR board. A board for any Jets fan to get on and talk about our favorite team. Myself and the other mods/admins are just here to make sure that everyone can express their opinions freely and without being personally attacked in the process. I know the exact play if you want to look it up. it's the amon ra TD catch. their block was legal though because the blocker was running away from the end line and not parallel or towards it like lazard was. I know the refs suck and it seems to be even worse this year, and we get the shit end of the stick of it. the KC game still stings. but I do try and be fair to the refs when they are right
