It’s not your opinions, it’s that you only have one. You have an eagle eye on zack to the point it’s creepy.
An average quarterback doesn't consistently make over the shoulder throws with pin point accuracy on the side line and thread the needle strikes between two defenders. Average quarterbacks would wilt under the pressure heaped on them from critics. Average quarterbacks don't overcome 17-0 deficits to the defending World Champs. It's one game. One massive step forward for a much maligned quarterback and one giant leap for the Jets franchise if he can continue to play like this.
Well we tied the game instead of getting blown out. I know you were busy throwing darts at your Zach Wilson headshot but it was a pretty good effort to come back after getting punched in the fucking face like we did.
Okay I have had it enough. Not only you use vulgar language in every thread, you are now going after long time posters who are known to be peaceful. Go rest a week. When you come back, this time treat people with respect.
bickety We don't protect anybody. You know that better than everyone. It is about giving new posters benefit of the doubt. 4848 is entitled to his opinion and can hate Saleh and Zach all he wants. As long as he expresses himself in a respectful manner and abide by the forum rules he will be fine,
I seen on reddit but can't confirm it, but we are the 1st team in NFL history to face 4 12 win teams in our 1st 6 games
More perspective... The Chiefs, considered one of the favorites to win the SB, played the Broncos at home last night. The score was 19-8 Chiefs. Mahomes had 306 yards on 30-40 passing, earning 7.7 yards/pass completion; he had 1 INT and 2 sacks, and a Rating of 94.4. The Jets with Zach at the helm beat the Broncos at Mile High 31-21. Zach had 199 yards on 19-26, 7.7 yards/attempt, was sacked 4 times, and intercepted once on a play that Surtain almost literally pulled out of his ass to make. If GW holds onto that ball instead of being intercepted, Zach's Rating would've been around 100 instead of 78.8. No, Zach Wilson is not Patrick Mahomes, nor are the Jets the Chiefs, but all those who denigrated his performance need to get some honest perspective. While I personally prefer the type of offense that Reid and Mahomes run, that's not what the Jets are doing. Frankly, I think they should open things up more than they have. But so far, Zach is running the offense they want him to run, and he's having some success. I agree with those who say he needs to deliver some games of 300-400 yards and a couple of TDs to show that he can be a reliable starting QB, because there are times when your QB has to be able to put the team on his back and carry them. But the Jets had to build Zach's foundation first, and they screwed up the first 2 years of that. I'm still hopeful that he can deliver some "statement games", but in the meantime, he's showing definite progress toward that end.
Perspective…. Here we sit, just like last year… with nearly the same cast, same result (actually worse). This time , we actually have Aaron Rodgers signed, last year at this time we had no idea what we would do…. And somehow, it looks more bleak than it did last year. We don’t have the type of organization, or owner we can feel confident in making the right football minded moves to right the ship. It’s all about hoodwinking short term sales. Wont work forever woody, it may have taken a long time, but most jets fans are on to it and sick of it.
