The Cowboys really made a bad miscalculation not trying to get a workhorse runningback in. Pollard is a nice lightning back but he’s not a top dawg.
At what point do we start considering Purdy for MVP? Sure, the 49ers are stacked, but the Chiefs have been stacked too and that didn't stop Mahomes from winning MVP. And Purdy playing at an insane level, much better than Garoppolo was.
I'm still waiting for someone to explain what we missed with Purdy...or Jalen Hurts, who had to leave Alabama because of Tua. And let's not forget Joe Burrow, who had to leave OSU because he couldn't beat out....Dwayne Haskins !!?? I hate having missed on Zach (and Sam...and Mark.....etc...etc.)...but let's face it....aside from a Peyton Manning, getting the QB as a layup pick is very hard. Even Trevor Lawrence has not been as good as I thought he would be.
He’s tied for 4th for MVP odds right now. The books are already considering him for mvp Mahomes +350 Tua +500 Hurts +600 Allen / purdy +700
Chiefs are becoming very unlikeable. Just catching up around the league https://x.com/yfz84/status/1711182071207543281?s=46&t=RCU1EI_2cEZzRLtLmi7Csg
I think home field probably decides who goes to the SB in the NFC between the Eagles and 49ers. The Lions are a nice story but they won’t be able to hang with these teams. No one in the South has a chance.
