Yes, there were chances but that is the NFL. The non-holding call on third and forever and the INT called back was atrocious. It cost Zach a chance to redeem himself. There is no way a defense can bounce back from calls like that.

There are bad calls then there are game changing calls. Last year INT against the pats and this one just make you think things are not on the up and up.

You called a 72%, 250 yard, 105 qb rating average. The league average in those categories is 65, 220, 89. You’re clearly trolling with that comment

Not to mention that his stupid scheme has no room for error since he refuses to make adjustments (or doesn’t know how to), so if the D isn’t perfect every time they allow yards and points.

Sucks how obtainable 3-1 could have been

I was out at 17-0 and wanted everyone fired. Hopefully they play with the same mentality with the easier part of their schedule. Obviously Zach playing well is the key, but if they can get to the bye at 2-4 I don’t think 8-3 in the last 11 is impossible. Will 10 get a playoff spot is the question I guess.

Philly, @Buffalo, both Miami games, @Cleveland and @New England. Those are 6 games this team is very unlikely to win. at 1-3, those losses alone makes 9 losses.

3 of their 1st four games at home, they needed to win those and they didnt

No, that was way above average. He made a bunch of elite throws.

If they get offense play like last night, it’s not over yet…: but I won’t hold my breath

I cannot say I was not feeling the same at 17-0. This team can beat anyone and no reason we cannot win the next two games.

A career day for Zach still resulted in us topping out at 20 points.

That's not going to be good enough against the Eagles, Chargers, Bills and Phins x2.

Beat the Bronco's and maybe I can see us going 9-8 but I'm still feeling a 6-11 season at best.

We should have beat the Pats, but to say we should have beaten the defending SB champs with our backup QB is crazy talk.

A career day so far. What he showed last night, on top of the progress he's shown so far - even though many here have tried to deny it - indicates that he might well have finally turned the corner. Especially if Hackett designs future game plans that are more compatible with Zach's strengths.

And if the HC doesn't remain stuck in his conservative mindset and opt for FGs when Zach is moving the team consistently.

Try looking at the entire picture and not just the parts that support your bias.

I love how your post is optimistic on Wilson but still has built-in excuses haha. That is hard to do, well done

No more talking, just go out and follow up the Chiefs performance with another good one. Wilson is facing a pathetic defense sunday so I expect him to play well again. no excuses

If Zach can beat the Broncos like a rented mule and avoid getting embarrassed against the Eagles we come out of the bye week with two or three wins and a breather to work on some things.

If Zack can only perform when Taylor Swift is in the building we still have a big problem at quarterback.

At least Hackett finally took his head out of his ass and called a good game for once.

The parts that support 'my bias' are historical facts so I find them rather hard to ignore.

We've seen Zach put in good performances before only to crap the bed the following week, we've seen his statline after a period of consecutive games, we've seen other year 3 QBs play much better then Zach has done.

It's a "prove it" league and whilst I'm happy that Zach has finally had that one game that even the likes of Geno, Sam and Sanchez provided a few times over their careers - I'm not getting on the hype train till he actually strings a few above average outings together.

Yes, but what you ignore is that he's actually shown progress this year, even among the struggles he's had. And you use your "historical facts" to conclude that that's the best he'll ever be. Really? He's 23 years old. I'd say his best days lie ahead.

No one is saying get on the hype train but acknowledge a very good performance. You are correct he has to put a few together.
