The Jets should have beaten the Super Bowl champions after being down 17-0 in the first quarter. Zach Wilson finally looked like an NFL QB(Aaron Rodgers was still sitting on the bench at this point in his career). If Zach continues to regularly get the ball off in less than 2.5 seconds this can be a playoff team.

I know the usual suspects will be blaming Zach's fumble, but to me the key play of the game, was Saleh's decision to stop the O's momentum, & go for a long FG before halftime, rather than letting a pumped up offense go for that yard on 4th. I just heard Saleh say, about that decision, something to the effect, "after discussion we thought that even if we make the 1st-down, we'd probably have to kick the FG anyway." That is what a HC with no football instincts says, when he relies on ANALytics, rather than the flow of a game. A winning coach sees his offense on a roll (finally), & rolls along. .
Zach after the game: "It's not on the defense, it's on me. I lost us this game." Guy has grown up a lot since last year. Shame we couldn't quite get it done tonight.
He played like a average qb today and that was his best game as a Jet, Next week the Jets play the worst defense in the league, a defense that Justin Fields looked like Tomy Brady against, if Zach can't atleast match this performance without the stupid fumble ofcourse he is simply trash.
Yeah besides the 1 stupid fumble he played like a Avg Nfl Qb, If he can play like this for the rest of the season there's going to be no one complaining. But than again he can't go 1 game without doing anything dumb.
Average QB play is 72% completion for 245 yards 2 TDs, no picks, 105 rating? No, Zach really stepped up today, and honestly, I didn't think he would. Kudos to the guy, a few small things here and there, and we could have won this game against a really tough opponent. Zac balled out tonight.

That is a huge step in the right direction after acting like a ginormous spoiled entitled brat last season when the bottom started to fall out. Blame shifting and lack of personal responsibility was a terrible look and he got himself benched and cold-shouldered like he deserved.
If they can play like this they can win a lot of games. Other than the Eagles, rest of the schedule isn't bad. Not easy but gives me some degree of hope I didn't have before 9pm.
Average are you out of your freakin mind. He had a QB rating of 105, he completed over 70 percent of his passes, cut out the nonsense. Today he played well.
