Sources: Aaron Rodgers is currently in the #Jets’ facility and will attend Sunday Night Football against the #Chiefs, after being cleared by his doctor. I’m told Rodgers just attended the team meeting and spoke to his teammates. Good boost for Zach Wilson to have Rodgers there supporting him. Lets see it on the field - too much talking from Florham Park since June!!
Say what you want about the guy, but he obviously gives a shit..... I wonder how much that leg swelled up on the plane....
I was thinking Rodgers should be up in the booth and call plays from there. *he has an over ride switch to block out hackett
This is actually pretty big for Zach. I feel like Rodgers should be in Zach's ear constantly. Maybe he can help him see things that he's missing. Chris Jones will make it tough to run in middle, hopefully they have more runs designed to the outter left and get a little creative with it.
Time and again Rodgers has shown how wrong the people who were detractors based on personality really were.
This is totally what I was most excited for before the season started. Rodgers to be in the building but not actually playing on the field.
So true--there must have been some other stuff going on in GB--he seems to love this team and is as close to "all in" as one could expect.
I don't think his detractors - and I'm one of them - are wrong per se, we'll just never know because it didn't get to play itself out. How else was he supposed to comport himself is really the question you should be asking. It should also be noted that how I feel about His Flakeness and his d-bag ego is, was, and always will be immaterial when it comes to winning and the Jets success. Some people can't separate that. It's all about great surgeon, shitty bedside manner vs shitty surgeon, great bedside manner. I don't care if the guy with the scalpel is Mr. Nice Guy, I care about who's gonna save my life. All that being said, I was not down with the Rodgers signing just because of his ashram bullshit. It was a mitigating yet concomitant factor, if that makes any sense. None of it really matters because at the end of the day here we are sitting in Shitzville.
Literally no one in the world had a problem with Aaron Rodgers until he made a personal health decision and fudged it to the media. It’s pretty wild how people still absolutely hate him for it three years later.
