I really don't understand keeping bawden. would have rather kept an extra TE

Well this could either be this man's coming out party (quick passes, running, etc.) or he will game plan as bad as he did for dallas and on top of that make NO adjustments. If its the latter, we will know that we have both terrible qc and QB + s***** OL.

12 or 21 personnel. Run behind AVT, Becton. Use your FB and Ruckert needs to be the TE in 12 or 21. He is rated the highest blocking TE on PFF.

There is no reason to come out in 11 nearly 75% of the time with our shitting OL vs the best pass rusher since Lawrence Taylor. It's common sense. Hacket though AR was back there, not ZW. Asking him to sit back there and pick apart that defense was dumb as shit.

How are you going to run the ball when the defense is stacking the box and tackling you in the backfield? How many times did the jets get tackled in the backfield for a loss vs Dallas huh? Once again what option does Hackett have? This is the 2nd coordinator now that is having a miserable offense now with the same qb and offensive line. So do we blame the offensive coordinator or do we blame the qb and offensive line? We blamed mlf all of last year and than when mike white came in he looked like a genious, than when mike white hurt we blamed him again.

Jeets4848 is right on the money. Why the hell would you run 11 front set when you're facing Parsons and the Dallas defense. The bottom line is we have the worst offensive line in football which is compounded by an incompetent offensive coordinator. The fact is that Zach Wilson doesn't good job when given time but is awful when he is pressured consistently.

Why the jets did not run a three tight end set is beyond me. They could have added another tight end to chip Parsons but Hackett refuse to do so.
They could have ran more RPOs and screens and much more on the running game.

I see a lot of teams throwing quick passes (spacing) and get chunks of yards that way. Why not use Mecole Hardman more using this concept. Quick passes, gets his confidence up. Mix it with some play action passes. However, im not expecting to see any of this Sunday

Someone should hand Nate Hackett the game tape of Steve Wilks’s Panthers that went 6-6 down the stretch. They ran for over 200 yards in a bunch of games and played good defenses with some created running and backs running hard.

The basic play calling that Wilson can’t execute isn’t an excuse but we can win with this sort of game plan if it’s a bit more creative.

The Game plan in general is horrible - with that in mind its hard to execute when the game plan sucks. We don't do anything well and our weapons are never on the field at the same time... When are we going to see Hall in the Backfield single back with Ruckert at TE and Hardman, Lizard and Wilson at the same time so they at least LOOK like an offense that WANTS to put their weapons on the field... its nauseating. Its no excuse for the poor play by QB and everyone actually on the field... but its definitely a contributing factor

it's hard to blame the gameplan last week when WRs were open all the time and zach just missed it. and had he actually hit some throws and seen people open the D would have backed off opening up the run game. The 1 drive zach played well, we moved the ball easily and scored a TD. IIRC he was 6/7 at one point on the drive and finished 7/10 for 70ish yards. bawden punched it in IIRC for the TD. had zach been able to execute on more then that 1 drive the offense would have been fine. it wasn't the gameplan.

Hackett coached QB Russell Wilson to his worst statistical season at DEN and we're expecting him to turn a lump of coal like Zach into a diamond? The dynamic duo of Zachett would not even be on this team if it wasn't for a whipped Jet management permitting Rodgers to tinker at GM. All this while JD continues to pull a Rip Van Winkle over the impotent QB room.

Maybe time to hire a front office which retains control of football operations and does not delegate its authority to an executive in training. Saleh gets a pass because he is sincere, genuine, likeable and will take a bullet or two for the incompetent jackasses above him. Poor guy got hung out to dry in the last few pressers.

Bobby does need to provide some push back though, and commandeer more authority because he seems to be the brightest mind in the operation. As for the rest of the crew, Joe Willie had the right idea.

maybe carrol was just really good at making wilson look good. or maybe wilson is washed now. he looks like ass this year too under "offensive guru" sean peyton. rodgers won back to back MVPs under hackett and had his best years with him as OC.

So because they had one successful drive and a couple receivers were open that he didn't hit - the game plan was good? The Game plan week to week is horrendous at best - refusing to get weapons on the field is dereliction of duty to the offense and the team. They commit to NOTHING, have no identity or imagination. Its like watching a BAD HS offense. Can't Hackett 2.0 has no idea what to do without Rodgers - it's PAINFULLY apparent.

your telling me the guy that ran offenses that led to his QB getting back to back MVP seasons runs a bad offense? but you random person on the internet knows better play calls?
what are these weapons you speak of not seeing the field? hardman who was signed as a WR 4 who couldn't produce in an offense with the best QB in the NFL and the best TE in the NFL and one of the top offensive minded coaches in the NFL? thats the talent?
i could give you ruckert maybe but uzomah is the top rated blocking TE in the NFL this season and the o-line needs help. him being on the field is gameplanning for the lack of protection. moving him off the field for ruckert or conklin would be the opposite of gameplanning.

it's not the play calling thats bad. it's the execution. and it's really last week at least the QB. o-line was great, zach had plenty of time. WRs were open. you can't blame hackett for that.

I stopped reading and listening to anything you have to say when you gave him credit for Rodgers MVP's - have a good day. Hackett is awful without Rodgers. its not brain surgery.

Couldn't we use this exact same logic to show Hackett is a terrible OC? He's been an utter failure whenever he didn't have Aaron Rodgers to bail him out.

based on what exactly? a failure as an OC with a backup QB who is playing poorly 3 games into a season vs 3 years of resume? he was a bad head coach but a good OC. rodgers game and numbers improved under hackett greatly which is impressive since he was already a 2 time MVP before hackett came along. a player like that having their best years at 36 and 37 years old is pretty crazy. he set career highs in TDs and completion % and was 39-10 with hackett as an OC. GB was already good and hackett improved them somehow. there is a reason rodgers wanted him specifically.

and on a funny side note, sean peyton talked shit about hackett's coaching with the broncos and blamed him for the whole season and 3 games in, peyton is worse lol
