Actually now that’s really the only option. We’re losing games doing it the way we’ve been. It’s clear that JD is not giving us a true viable replacement. Siemian is a joke, I don’t care how polarizing Wentz can be at this point it’s just insulting to leave him sitting home and signing Siemian. The right move was cutting Zach the moment we signed Rodgers and getting a true backup like Bridgewater or Minshew.

Since it’s obvious we’re saddled with this kid we might as well try to figure out some way to win with him. At this point I don’t care if he’s drawing plays in the dirt

Agree about your offseason point and that Siemian doesnt bring anything, so true

Letting him Wilson do what he wants is gonna result in him running backwards and tossing it up for easy interceptions though

This is probably true, but I'm on the fence about whether we'd have a better chance of winning or not.

On one hand, we aren't going to win many games with the gameplans we've been trotting out. You just can't win consistently scoring 1 TD per game, it's almost impossible. On the other, you can't win consistently turning it over 2-3+ times per game.

I'm not sure the gameplan with Wilson impacts W-L much at the end of the day, it just determines how we'd lose. However, I'd rather watch him air it out and throw a couple picks than this absolute nothingburger offense where we go 3 and out 90% of the time.

This is one of my primary frustrations with the Jets. It's not like we lose shootouts or entertaining games. We lose in the most boring fashion possible. It's misery as a fan.

They signed Trevor Simein. So their that. Can he be worst than Zach?

    And that's the point.
As long as he IS the QB now, they've proven that preaching no mistakes, has made him a basket-case, unable to do things he used to do.
So, if they're gonna lose anyway, if he plays scared, why not just let him do the things he did, the things that led them to draft him?
I have screamed for years, for the Jets to start games with Zach in no-huddle.
It's a very simple thing to do.
And the quick pace will get him out of his head, into a natural rhythm.
At the very least, it would disrupt the D, & D substitutions.
It's also when he seems to perform best... at a faster pace.

Remember, after AR's injury in the Buffalo game, Zach came in & looked pretty good initially.
He could have frozen, but didn't.
He showed poise, & didn't look scared.
Now, he's back to being gun-shy, over-thinking, playing scared.

The slow, game-manager thing doesn't work, unless the D is perfect.
And the D rarely starts games on-fire.
They're always bend, not break, & put immediate pressure on the O if/when they fall behind.
There's nothing to lose, for however long Zach is QB...
So, I say, let him play fast.

The next time you bring facts to the table will be the first. Now, about those false assertions regarding my calling for coaches to be fired and trying to hurt people, would you care to attempt to bail yourself out by supporting those claims?

Don't bother revisiting your "nether region" talk - we've seen too much of that already.
