Several QB prospects in the Draft. They may not be able to get Williams or Maye but I would be fine with Pennix Jr or Ewers which should be available in our range.

Kidding? Hell no! I think you read too many fantasies. The reality is the guy will be forty soon and he has an injury that young guys take 12 months plus to heal from. The reality is that he was 90% ready to retire six months ago. The reality is that last year was a lousy season for him in spite of what he did before that. The reality is that the offensive line here may be at least partially responsible for his injury. He also seemed to think he'd have an easy ride to the playoffs. How much of that has been realized? What's going to feed his ego - the team blowing up?

At this point I really don’t know or care what Rodgers thought process is. The man said he’s coming back and I’ll take him at his word. He’s also got a lot guaranteed $ on the table if he decides to return to play.

Are you insinuating that he retires or that he wants to play for another team? I’m not sure there are any other options for him outside of playing for the Jets or hanging up his cleats.

I'm not insinuating anything - I'm reminding people of his age, health, wishy-washiness, the state of the Jets and his declining abilities among other factors. Now that you bring it up, I don't take him at his word because he has proven that he will say whatever suits his agenda at the time he says it regardless of the truth. He also has a ton of money in the bank and I'm sure he'll be adequately compensated if his current injury prevents him from ever playing football again. Play for another team? No, and I have no idea where that even came from.
