If the reason Zach is starting is nepotism, and I'm not saying it is, but if it is, the guys in the locker room need to have a meeting with the front office and tell them that if the front office doesn't replace Zach, they'll tell the media what's going on.
I was here. I admitted that Zach isn't the answer at this point. I said they need to get in a decent vet QB at this point and put Zach back on the bench. IDK if he'll ever be able to improve his processing and recognition ability, but it's not good enough at this point, so he needs to sit. I've said all of this in several threads today. But that's not what you want. You don't want to know where all the Zach Wilson defenders are. You just want to rub it in, which is more important to you than whether the Jets win. Congratulations.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I would have loved for Zach to win us this game. At this point, my anti-Zach posts are solely because the Jets have said they aren't bringing anyone else in. And since he's on the field, I'm going to post about him. But yeah this fucking sucks, I wish you'd won the argument.
No, Zach can throw the ball. But when you don't let him throw it on first down, and only allow him to throw on 3rd down, that's a recipe for failure. Still, Zach needs to be able to convert more of these 3rd downs than he does. But Hackett is crippling this offense, and not just Zach. I hesitate to say this, but this has all the markings of Adam Gase II - where an OC was made to look great by a future HOF QB and has no ability to construct a good offense when left to his own devices.

Gase at least had some interesting wrinkles every now and then. The offense looked OK with Flacco running it. Hacketts offense just looks dated.
Yeah. Mike Lafleur's offensive system was A LOT better - but he became the scapegoat for Zach Wilson.

Zach sucks, but it doesn't help that our OC only lets him pass on obvious passing downs. There's 0 creativity to this offense. It's run run pass all the way. We had 12 first down plays before the 4th quarter and ran the ball on 10 of them.
I've had faith in ZW till today. Kid is cooked, OC sucking doesn't help but Zach Wilson is disgusting to watch. Done. Please sign Wentz, I'm not nearly as worried about winning as I am about all our good players demanding trades. Wouldn't blame them
