If the HC and OC learn anything from the Dallas game we should counter any strong pass rush by running the damn ball or play action short passes NE is more or less on Buffalo's level not a strong team like the Cowboys..if so we have a very good chance even with the Zach attack EDIT: The Jets will lose if it comes to pure coaching eg tight in 4th qtr or overtime Bellichek is way smarter then the 3 jet coaches
For the first time in I can remember I am intentionally not going to watch this game, and making plans just so I don’t watch this shit show.
Take the under. Both defenses should make life difficult for the offenses. This looks like a 17-14 type of game.
I have no confidence in Hackett being able to make the right adjustments after the debacle in Dallas. I didn't see the game but the fact the patsies only lost by 5 to the Eagles is concerning. The Eagles didn't have a good day running the ball so Hurts carried the team. That won't happen here with Zach. They need to find a way to rely on the run game and pray the defense can take the ball away and score 14 pts. 20-17 Jets, 2 fg's and 2 TD's either by the defense or turnovers given them a short field. I won't bet more than a penny on this outcome. Hopefully but Hackett looks like a hack.
If we get the zach that played the first 3 quarters vs dallas we blow them out. the pats defense is good, but they are not as good as dallas and do not get after the qb like that front. we are all bruised, battered, and scarred from what BB and the pats did vs us last year against zach. we were kicking the shit out of them in the first meeting in the 1H and the wheels fell off after the BS roughing call that cancelled the pick 6. we have a chance to end the pats season right here on sunday at metlife. go do it.
Hope you are right. The Pats gave the Eagles all they could handle and played the Dolphins tough as well. Plus, NE is fighting to save their season. If they go 0-3 then they are done. This will not be an easy game.
Eagles game was always going to be a tough one for them. I saw that vegas line and said something was up (eagles -4). Super Bowl hangover + 2 new coordinators. Eagles aren't the team they were last year though. That offense is a mess right now and the fans are really getting after sirianni about it. Also about your 0-3 they are done comment. It is so freaking true. They have Dallas waiting in the horizon next week too.
I have very little faith in Zach playing a good game against Belichick and a defense that has absolutely owned him. I so badly want to kick that fucking team’s ass and seriously hurt their season, but I have a hard time seeing a win here…Belichick knows how to take away what you do well…so he will likely stop the run and force Zach to make throws and we kind of know how that game ends. On D, I think we can hold them so it should be a tight game from that standpoint. And of course, there is ALWAYS the fucking ref’s factor with that team…you always end up playing against the Pats AND the Ref’s I’m hoping we can pull it out, but if I was a betting man, I’d say we lose
No reason to come out in soft zone. Dallas picked us apart on the quick shit so our pass rush couldn't get home. You can bet your ass BB is going to do something similar.
Here is my question (and in no way do I WANT this to come true)... What happens when Zach Wilson is booed out of the stadium on Sunday afternoon? There is no where else to turn. And shame on JD for letting this scenario become a very real possibility.
Yup…they will throw short dumpoffs all day and exploit the middle of the field…and throw in some runs. They will carve out long drives because they won’t take many chances on long balls and they’ll be happy to march down the field on 10 play drives, and then after an 8 minute drive, watch us go 3 and out and get the ball right back for another 7 minute drive. Their short passing game will kind of negate our pass rush, and on D, they will stack the box to take away our running game and dare Zach to throw completions. He won’t. I can just about already see it all happening… Sad, but 14 straight losses is fucking disgusting, and I hate that team SO much, but I just have zero faith that Zach can be even average.
If our D shows up, New England won't score more than 16 points. The question is, can our offense score more than 10?
