We are 1-1 and Patriots are coming to Metlife. Saleh is 0-4 against the hoodie. Will this game be any different? We shall see. Pats are 0-2 and losing this game for them is not an option. But I still think Jets will find a way to win this game.
It was always going to be 1 of 3 vs Buffalo, KC, Philly and 2 of 2 vs Denver + New England to get to 3-3. The plan stays course. This is a must win.
They're going to stack the box and play single high safety, just like Dallas did. I don't know how much Dallas blitzed, but New England probably will a lot more. This is going to be on Zach to recognize and to quickly get rid of the ball. If he can do that, the Patriots will have to back out and that should open up the running game.
The Pats offensive line is about as bad as the Jets. Jones isn't the most mobile QB around. Looking at another 13-10 type game. Living up here in NH I can't take another Pats win. Time to break the streak. I'd like to finally shut up my New England family.
Once Rodgers got hurt, I was expecting six wins from the team. in all honesty, after seeing this team play, we are probably a six win team with Rodgers. We have no shot next week. the pats coming in winless will be ready to steam roll us. Will be looking forward to the draft after week 3. Oh how some things never change.
I think we squeak this one out at home. What scares me though is how often does the hoodie asshole lose 3 in a row?
Saleh goes 0-5 vs the Hoodie. Zach will be exposed once again as a QB not ready for the NFL . The defense will spend a lot of time on the field because the offense guided by Nate Hackett can't do shit against Belichek. All in all, another loss is coming. I can see this team being 0 for October.. Just another losing season in a long line of losing seasons. No consequences for the FO or CS though. Gotta have consistency as its said. Rodgers should be glad he got hurt instead of playing behind this amateur OLine.
Can't see the Jets winning this one (much as I would love them to - about the only thing that could put a smile on my face this season now would be talk of Bill on the hot seat)
It's time for the Jets to beat the Pats. I definitely think they can. If I'm being honest, I don't think they will though. Got a bad taste in my mouth from their coaching performance yesterday and are going up against one of the best ever on Sunday. Pats own Zach too. And the Pats really need this one. I think they get it I'll be at the game and committing to not booing Zach off the field if things go off the rails for him.
Against my better judgement, I'm going to say the Jets pull this one out. I think the Ulbrich and the D will take what happened against Dallas personally and look to shut out the Pats. I also think yesterday was an eye-opener for Hacket in terms of game planning. This isn't the '20-'21 Packers where Rodgers could just sit behind an elite OL for 3-4 seconds and pick the secondary apart. Scheme up some more quick-hitters to GW, Hardman, Breece, Cook, and MC. Get the ball out of Zach's hands and into the hands of our playmakers. Surely everyone knows defenses are going to go Cover 1 or Cover 0 against us for the foreseeable future. Make them rue that day. Incorporate some motion into the offense, have the opposing D tip their hand on their coverage, which will make Zach's job easier. I'll say Jets win in a relatively low-scoring game. Jets 24 Pats 16
My heart says the Jets can pull it out … the Pats offense scares no one But my head says Belichick owns the Jets and Zach specifically, I wouldn’t be shocked to see Zach go three and out time after time and then start throwing picks as he tries to press. I’d have to look up the last time Belichick started 0-3…and while now is the time to bury that fucking team, I just think we don’t have the psyche or the talent at QB to do it. I’m hoping for a win but expecting a loss…
Can we run on them? I honestly don't know enough about coverages/styles on defense, but it appears every time we play NE in this drought our QB struggles against zone. I think I recall Chris Ivory having some big games, but was that the Fitz "good" year and they had to worry about him and Decker/Marshall? I know if safeties are down in the box it's harder to run, but how can we establish the run early and make the game more "manageable" for like a 20 - 14 win?
