The Hawks lost both starting tackles in week 1 and still played well in week 2. I wonder what that feels like.
Must be cool. They also started two rookie tackles all of last year and only have one first round offensive lineman on the roster. Their center makes $2.25 million, right guard $4 million and the other three are on rookie deals. Amazing how easy it seems it was to build that line for them.
Only 2 of 52 teams have ever started 0-2 with two losses at home and made the playoffs. Bad news for the Patsies. Of course, it seems pretty likely that they'll be 1-2 after next week ... And 6 teams have ever started 0-2 with two division losses, and none made the playoffs. Bad news for the Bengals, and when you add in Burrow's injury, it seems like very bad news. Note: statistics according to talking heads on ESPN, so don't expect me to defend those numbers!
Appreciate the stats. I'll throw this one at you in return! The Chargers are the 33rd team in the SB era (since 1966) with 50+ points and 0 turnovers through 2 games. They are the only team to start 0-2
Dennis Allen is just a bad coach. He’s 16-38 as a head coach. It’s pretty mind blowing that the Saints went with him.
They have those high tech mics and you can hear him writhing in pain. They’re not showing the replay but you could hear the stadium gasp when they saw it.
Chubb maybe done for his career. If that’s a complete break/shatter no way he can play football again
Gonna do everything possible to not see that replay. Seeing Moises Alou dislocate his ankle years ago was the worst injury I had ever seen, don't want to see anything worse than that...
I don't think I've ever seen a quarterback twice aggressively grab a facemask and drag a tackler down like that in one game.
