Thread is back open. I am on the phone so I will write short. Due to raw emotions today, nobody is banned due to crossing the line in this thread. Tomorrow is a different day though. Please keep thins civil. About trolling. Negative thoughts aren’t trolling. All trolls eventually get perma banned. So please cut new folks some slack. If they are indeed trolls, we will take care of it. But please leave it to mods for these type of decisions.
Sauce has been terrible this year. Even on his one good play he couldn’t finish and actually hang on to the ball. Other than that Sauce looks like he’s playing with clown shoes on. He even looks scared, like something changed.
Wow. It’s amazing how fans turn against a team particularly defense. And they think they know the answers and decided whether the defense is bad or good especially after 2 games. And calling out a player who is a “Pussy” and playing scared like they know what’s going on at practices and games. Brilliant stuff. Wait til 4-5 games to see where they are at.
If they get banned, please ban me right along side of them? I know I have said worse than this. Thank God you don't set the standards around here.
Time of possession was a real killer. Dallas 42:15 to Jets 17:45. Against a high powered offense like Dallas the Defense is going to eventually pay. The Jet offense basically was on the field just 4.5 minutes per quarter. A recipe for disaster. Next week New England w/Rodgers I was looking forward to a blowout. W/Zach nightmares of last year.
There is no way, and I mean NO WAY you can convince me that this defense is good enough for the Jets to follow the blueprint of the Ravens years ago. I get it: Dallas is good, really good. They Jets probably lose this game with a healthy Aaron Rodgers as their QB. That being said, the defense never even kept the Jets in the game. You can pound your chests and call yourselves "elite" all you want, bt an elite defense keeps the game much closer than that.
I don't think the defense is a "fraud" defense either, I think it is a good defense. I am just tired of the word "elite" being dispensed like candy from a Pez dispenser.
I agree, the defense looked terrible. I'm not sure what they were doing or what the gameplan was. They have prided themselves at keeping the safeties back and not blitzing, to the point where it has been frustrating in that direction to me at times. But yesterday all they did was blitz and Dak Prescott feasted on it.
Ooooh! I like this game! Can I play too? When you take into consideration that Dallas scored a touchdown off a blocked field goal, this vaunted, ELITE, Jets defense gave up only three fewer points to Dallas than the Giants did.
How can you blame a defense when the offense goes three and out nine out of 10 drives. They will get gassed and lose motivation.
