Yeah I always felt this way. Everyone kept saying we had an explosive offense I just didn't see it. We had Wilson and Hall for Rodgers to work with. That's it.
Yeah this was obvious before we had played any games this season, it's just become glaring with Rodgers out.
I've been beating this drum forever. You need MANY weapons in the modern NFL. Not just a good RB and a good WR, or a good WR and a good TE, or a good RB and a good TE. You need all of it. You need all of them and 2 good WRs if you have no receiving threat at TE. We had a very good WR prospect sitting in our lap in the first round and took a rotational pass rusher who is a healthy scratch because we're too deep at the position instead. We are a rotten, clueless franchise to the core.
why hand it to stars and superstars when our terrible qb will destroy everything in his path?? makes no difference.
If Saleh has a shortcoming as a head coach... it's the ability to know & dictate what he wants out of the offense. Gonna be a long season fellas... pace the hate.
It's not one or the other. You need to be very good at as many of the following as you can to win in the NFL: QB WR TE RB OL OC When fully healthy, we're weak or very weak at 4 out of the 6. Our OC sucks. We're 1 deep at WR. We're 0-0.5 deep at TE. Our OL sucks. It's not enough. Look at the Dolphins. They have a guy who was a mediocre QB, so they surrounded him with weapons and an innovative offensive mind and they have guys running open downfield all day every day and feel impossible to stop when healthy.
that because Dallas was stacking the box when they ran the ball they usually got tackled in the backfield, that’s what happens when the other team knows your qb sucks. Also they were playing from Behind at the end so hard to run the ball when your down multiple Scores
