I can't think of another pro sports figure in my life that I've (at least thought I ) really didn't like as much as Aaron Rodgers that completely turned my negative opinion of him around to the point of feeling like a big fan. Pulling for him to recover and make a big age 40 comeback.
I always thought it took about a week for the swelling to go down before they would repair the Achilles? It seems awfully quick and I don’t remember anything about Testaverde’s surgery …. Unless I’m thinking about ACL/MCL surgery ….
It must have been a different thread, but someone with medical knowledge posted a link or article that said that it's best to do the surgery within 48 hours, if possible, to prevent the tendon from completely pulling up/away. Doing it early, makes the damage less severe and/or helps make a faster recovery, something like that. An ACL does need for the swelling to go down, but not the Achilles, according to the medical source that was cited.

Saw this as well. No shot I’m getting my hopes up but would be crazy. Saw someone else asking why he would fly back to Malibu the night of the game and were asking questions. The surgeon was in LA but no need to fly back the night off. They brought up stem cell infusions before the surgery.
