Well something has changed. How does that affect your season predictions?

I'm still hopeful in our defense and going with 9-8, and a sneak into the postseason.

There should be a 4 or less option! lol

I have this team, yes with this D, winning a maximum of 4 games if the lightbulb doesn't come on in Wilson's head. There's still time and they can game plan Dallas with Wilson in mind. However, my keen football eye says Dallas is going to roll us. I also do not see Wilson winning against the Patriots either so there's another sweep. When was the last time we beat the Pats again?? Nope, 4 wins is it.

With Wilson at helm they may lose the next 5 games, maybe they beat Denver but there is no way in hell the jets beat Dallas,ne, chiefs or Philly with Zach Wilson as your qb, woulda even been tough with ar season is not looking good. Looking at another 7 win season.schedule is tough. Hey look at the bright side we get to to draft top 15 again this year. Guess we showed those punks at greenbay who’s boss! Looking forward to the off-season where joe d will neglect the offensive line situation yet again! Maybe we can do hard knocks again and woody will entertain us with his presence

I'll wait until Round 3 to vote - if and when the Jets sign another QB.

I don't get the negativity. You have a team that looks like it should be better than last year. You already beat the best team in your division.

Patriots can be beat twice. Dolphins and Bills we can split with. Hopefully we upset one of the big favorites like the Cowboys, Chiefs or the Eagles. We mostly take care of business with the other middling teams, maybe drop one heartbreaker to a team like the Chargers or Browns. There is a path to 11 wins thats not crazy.

Only Jets fans have one of the best Ds in the league and the majority of us think we will have a losing record.

I guarantee no one in greenbay thinks they will have a losing record and they also lost Aaron Rodgers for the season.

As long as there are no other major injuries, I see 10-7 or 11-6

The Jets were rolling along last with a stout running game. With a continued healthy Breece and Cook and a mauling defense there's no reason why they can't notch an 11-6 record this season.

So basically pick the teams on our schedule that you think we can hold to under 20 points and don't have a killer D that'll limit us to FG's only......

    2-4 at the bye.
    3-8 at thanksgiving
6-11 to make sure we're not drafting in the Top 2 for a good rookie QB and back in our usual place in the AFC East.

I could easily see us at 3-14 where we take Drake Maye, Rodgers gets miffed at adding a rookie to take his place and ends up with the Vikings to fully complete the Favre tribute act.

I had players taking games off or us losing a couple games where we under estimate opposition.

    So had us at 13-4

I think if we can go 3-3 it would be huge at the start

65.3 career completion rate, 103.6 career qbr, almost a 5:1 td to interception rate, compared to 55% career completion rate more interceptions than td's and a 71.2% qbr, thats gotta equate to more than 2-3 more wins no? Its crazy Rodgers in what was considered a down year last year with a pretty bad receiving core playing hurt had as many yards as ZW in his 1st 2 seasons.

I predicted 8-9 in round one, assuming Rodgers would miss a chunk of the season due to the leaky OL and with only Zach as backup. So for round two, it’s only a few additional games without Rodgers, and tbh I did not expect Breece to be so effective so fast, so I’ll go with 7-10.

    I went with 8-9.

My SOJ take is it’ll get bad early, people will sleep on the team, then if/when they manage to get competent QB play they’ll go on a run. Basically the opposite of last season. They’ll play themselves out of a top QB pick.

My “Maybe Sala’s different” take is they’ll be competitive all season, go 8-9, and play themselves out of a top QB pick.

You’re settling. I was looking for the 16-1 option with a loss to the Pats week 18 when Flacco is starting for Zach since we have the bye clinched.

We had the 32 out of 32 ranked QB play last year and we won 7. There is almost a zero percent chance we win less than 5 or 6 just based on how good the D is.
