I know I already said it, but Rodgers was inevitably in trouble behind this line. If it wasn’t this week, it was coming.

They need a starter but they also need OL help.

Feel like I remember JD talking a lot about rebuilding the OL when he arrived and year after year it’s not very good.

I didn’t watch Hard Knocks so I haven’t seen what Rodgers looked like this off-season. Finally saw him and he looked old and fragile.

They put that dude behind this line. FFS….

Ok so now the question is where do the Jets go for a QB because if I know JD he’s on the phone right now. Saleh said Wilson is the starter for the rest of the year but that isn’t in stone - a couple of bad games and the Jets will put him back on the shelf providing they can bring somebody else in but who? And at what cost?

    Foles?
    Minshew?
    Wentz?
    Ryan?

with this defense and the running game they can’t stand pat - this is still a SB team provided they can find a capable guy to step in should Zach revert back to ….. well Zack. LOL

I don't think we've seen the last of Aaron Rodgers in a Jets uniform. Judging his character I don't see him going out on a sour note.

    I think we have

He was half retired last off-season they had to drag him out of his cave.

hes not gonna do all the work needed to rehab from an Achilles injury.

I think it is curtains for Rodgers, he sits in the booth week 1 next year in Lambeau like Brady did in NE Sunday

Now looking back I recall in the first practice of the season he injured himself. Now first game he tore achiness. He will have to miss entire year. It just seems to me Rodgers era is over before it even started because of age, not character or desire. He may be strong willed, but when your body is not cooperating, there is only one thing left to do.

Yeah and all off-season on this board those of us who said we need a backup QB because we doubted he would last 17 games were ridiculed here.

Fuck he didn’t last 17 plays

    • Ripley: How long after we're declared overdue can we expect a rescue?
    • Corporal Hicks: [pause] Seventeen days.
    • Private Hudson: Seventeen *days*? Hey man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen hours! Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here...

I swear it's like 99 all over again.... or worse the year Chad broke his wrist in preseason game #2

I've got a friend who was driving home from work and was like I didn't even get to see one fucking play !!!

I am happy for the victory and devastated over the Rodgers injury.

I cannot see Wilson or any QB surviving with this offensive line. Rodgers's ability to get rid of the ball fast would have helped. But lacking the mobility of Wilson would have made him a sitting duck.

Becton had a horrible game. Wilson was running for his life all game.

It would be horrible for this to be the end of Rodger's career, I pray he will be back next year for the Jets.

I was on the subway listening to the game on Sirius. As soon as Zach came in the game I turned it off. Things were just looking too promising for us. The universe had to step in and kick us in the balls one more time

At this point it’s a lost cause. 39 going on 40 with this potential injury. He should just retire.

Ridiculed by the same morons that are wrong about everything else on this board.

But don't worry. @Brook! will edit the threads so they don't look quite as dumb.

Wilson better step up, or we can kiss the playoffs goodbye. This year will only show us what he's got, if Rodgers is done for. If not, we might be looking at a coaching change, which will set things back for several years again. sigh.
