I’m with the Fields hate after today and his career output. Love looked very poised but everyone should be honest about his performance. He has 100+ yards on screen plays and a broken 50 yard catch by a tightend with a 30 yard ring around him with no defenders. The Bears & Fields looked terrible but I wouldn’t use this as a marker to prop Love up quite yet.
I was on a group text with a bunch of college buddies that are all dolphans (yes its brutal) at the end of the game I said "There's more dolphin fans than a miami home game!"
Yeah and it’s now like theyre the Packers or Steelers where they always fill a quarter at minimum of the opposing stadiums.
Chargers had a nice fan base in San Diego. I forget why they moved... but I bet there's some regert...
They need to fix the QB slide personal foul shit. The defenders run across the field and are halfway through their form tackle when the QB slides and they end up getting personal fouls because they slide late. It’s just stupid and it’s so obvious. Maybe make it reviewable and see if it was egregious or not like college targeting. Everyone who watches a reply sitting on their couch knows if they were trying to decapitate the QB or not so why can’t the NFL figure that out too?
Cowboys are dominating. I like it for 2 reasons. For one, they are exposing the Giants as the frauds they are. Also, I like to play them next week when they are coming off of New York with a win.
So I had Baltimore in my big elimination pool and all week long was planning on taking Atlanta in the small (cheap) one. Decided yesterday that Atlanta was too risky so went with the near sure thing in Minnesota; only thing to worry about was Mayfield having a rare bigtime game. Atlanta wins by two touchdowns and Minnesota turns the ball over three times to lose by three to an uninspiring Mayfield for Tampa Bay. Better than last year when I was knocked out of both in week one. Bah!
Won’t have to stay up to watch a good matchup tonight. Giants showing nothing that says they can come back to even make it interesting.
Not sure if Giants have any other Sunday Night games left. If they still have a SNF game, I hope NFL just moves it for a better match up. Was hoping for a competitive game and a Cowboys win. Looks like it is one sided. Heading to bed early. Good night gents
