Doc, looks like Monday "day" is blah but it appears to improve somewhat by kickoff: Mon 11 - Day 81° 63% NNW 6 mph Showers early, becoming a steady rain later in the day. High 81F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 60%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch. Mon 11 | Night 69° 44% NNW 4 mph Isolated thunderstorms during the evening, then skies turning partly cloudy overnight. Low 69F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.
I don’t know that we have anyone to take advantage of Benford though, we are just as weak at WR2 the MLB is a big place to tilt the scales though, Rodgers loves his TEs and play action. Get the kid to bite on a run fake and drop it in over him. the safeties can/will stop it from there but who cares? I’ll take 8-10 yard pass plays all day
Lazard and Hardman are infinitely better than the shit we tossed out last year with Berriors/Mims though. And the obvious upgrade at QB will make that improvement of Lazard/Hardman felt even more. We really match up well. It would be such a shame if we lost Monday.
That's exactly what I did, explain an issue I had with you. I have no issue with not calling people names. I do have an issue with claiming someone calling an opinion retarded, a medically acceptable term, means it was disrespectful to an entire subset of the population, therefore should be banned. You're not holier than though bro. I could go through nearly every thread on this site and claim to be offended by something if I had other motivations.
Nah. 3 weeks for you. But you also have to come to Jets game thread and provide your view on the upcoming Jets game.
A deal is a deal. I would wish you good luck but nope. Hope you have a good tailgate and Metlife experience but I hope you leave stadium sad.
The Jets have talked the talk, it is time to walk the walk. I agree it would be disappointing if they lose.
Very disappointing We have the potential to be a top team … a playoff team … and if we stay healthy potentially a Super Bowl team But it’s like they say…potential is just another way of saying we haven’t done anything yet
I don't necessarily agree with you about have they really talked the talk. IMO it's more of the media going crazy and shoving the Jets down everyones throat since March. It was pretty clear the Jets didn't want Hard Knocks. When you acquire a 4x MVP and super bowl winner who is 39 years old, you know the expectations change. Every team talks about how they want to hoist the Lombardi. That's the goal. DJ Reed's quote about being the 85 Bears was paraphrased and taken out of context. He talked about what they can potentially be, not what they are. Every team talks about what they can be if things go right and how good they can be. Saleh even addressed it directly. https://x.com/BoyGreen25/status/1699826158500536639?s=20
yeah the Jets have been talking a lot, not just the media. Coach Saleh yesterday “nobody likes us? Well nobody liked the 80s 49ers or the 90s Cowboys” dude just make sure your team is ready for Monday ok, I don’t need the talk
It's a term that in today's world is improper, insensitive and impolite - it's not 1895 any longer. While I don't think we need to get to a high level of sensitivity here, politeness should be a given.
Ugh...all the hype and now here it is !!!! My heart is crying for a big win that sets the tone for marching on to victory week after week..sigh. But NY is not Southern Cal guys But my take is don't be surprised at sobering loss Its all good however as the Players and Coaching Staff start to invest in some character and pride...vaunted defense and more than decent offense will never allow the lose streaks we have been accustomed to the last 12 years
You know what, you're a good poster but you can be a real ass sometimes. Like at least a third of posters on here think the jets are gonna lose. Get over yourself Oh, and by the way, those returning starters lost to the Zach Wilson led jets last time they played at MetLife.
One cool thing about having to wait for Monday is if both the pats and fins lose today, the game will be for first place. Go Jets!
