Every injury has a mystery timetable. Its just dumb. The players themselves hate it. Duane Brown may or may not be activated from the PUP list today. Or he could be out for the season, who knows
Connor Hughes: SOURCES: Mekhi Becton to start at RT vs the #Giants. A major step for the former first-round pick Zack Rosenblatt: Huge for Mekhi Becton. Also means he’ll get reps with Aaron Rodgers in practice this week.
Just came to post this lol. This was the plan all along I feel like. Brown, LT, McGovern/Tippman, AVT and Becton I feel like is a pretty solid line. Depth is clearly an issue though, hopefully we can bring some depth in after the cuts.
Rich Cimini: Duane Brown (shoulder) is being evaluated today in Houston. If cleared, he will be activated from PUP. Dalvin Cook and Breece Hall will not play vs Giants. #Jets
Why isn't Cook playing? Is he recovering from an injury or just not up to speed yet on the playbook??
I believe he had shoulder surgery this offseason too so either that or, as you said, him not being up to speed just yet are both possible.
I remember hearing last week he just had the birth of his child and he probably isn't up to speed/in shape yet.
Perfect guy to sign when you hopefully won’t need him by mid-season. I say this as someone who advocated for the signing early on too.
Connor Hughes: BREAKING: #Jets OL Duane Brown will be activated off PUP tomorrow, sources tell @SNYtv. He had his doctor’s appointment today in Houston at 12 p.m. & came through with zero concerns. He’s off PUP once he passes physical when back in NJ The #NYJ get their starting LT back.
MacCagnan is history; whatever he did in the past has nothing to do with winning games today. Howling at the moon will be just as productive as complaining about MacCagnan. I prefer to address the present and future. The next success Douglas has with a Jets quarterback will be his first.
That is actually incorrect. The single best player on the team was brought here by Maccagnan. Quinnen Williams will have a lot to do with winning games today
Since 1985 there have been 8 QBs drafted in the first round that have won the super bowl. But many GMs have success drafting QBs.
