I’m interested to see Gipson this preseason. He’s a deep threat from the slot with his speed, with I believe 4 punt return TDs in college. Noticed he kinda muffed a punt in the HOF game, so will see how he does. His long shot path to the roster is on returns. Would we really keep 3 slot receivers tho? I feel like Cobb may end up eating a roster spot that could be better spent elsewhere.
Faria: Quincy Williams and JJ are back with the 1st-team defense. Both look fine after injuries suffered on Sunday #Jets
The good thing is that it seems like the CS is giving the young guys a real shot to make it. Just gonna have to see how the rest of the PS goes and if Brownlee and/or Gibson stand out enough to earn that spot.
No one trades away good OTs. You right with Lawson, WM, JJ and Huff we have a crazy good rotation. Let’s enjoy that. Either Lawson or Huff likely gone next year, and we still have Clemons who i prefer at End than converting to interior.
There is going to be tough decisions at WR, TE, and CB in particular. Some of those guys won’t last on the practice squad.

Faria: Mixed back in the second team session for the offense. Uzomah OPI negates a big play from Davis. Rodgers has to bail the pocket to dump it off to Knight a play later. AVT looks good today though! #Jets Jimmy Moreland picks off Rodgers. Bad pass - probably his worst of camp. Tried to hit Uzomah but he threw off his back foot and it essentially became a duck. #Jets A lot of Michael Clemons vs. Mekhi Becton today. Becton has looked really good so far but Clemons won the last rep off the edge. #Jets Defense won the first two 11v11 sessions. None of the QBs were very accurate although the runs are starting to come. #Jets

This is one of the biggest positives about the JD regime. Depth at many positions is very strong after many years of fringe NFL talent as backups

I'm glad to see the team getting deeper, and we are especially deep at a couple of spots. in fairness though, we do have fringe level NFL talent depth at S, LB, interior DL, OT, OG, and QB though. Any injuries there and we gonna have issues.
