What are your criteria to call this season a success even if we don't win Superbowl?

Okay we all want to see Jets win the Superbowl but apart from that, what would it take you to call this season a success even if we don't win the Superbowl?

For me it is all about development of young players and good play at the trenches. Say we lost in AFCCG but our OL played great, G.Wilson scored over 1500 receiving yards and 10 TD's and Sauce became a shut down corner again etc.

What are your criteria to call this season a success even if we don't win Superbowl?

Are you at the end of your patience? With Rodgers, do you call it a Superbowl win or bust? Chime in please..

1.)Sweep the fucking pats. Jets have not done that in 23 years. Let me repeat, the Jets have not swept the pats in 23 years. And are currently in the midst of losing 14 straight to the pats. WTF!
2.)Have to win a playoff game.

Make the playoffs and win at least one game, beating Buffalo and Miami at least once and sweeping NE.

Yes, sweeping the Pats. Winning a playoff game.

If the Pats beat us this year it will be hard to take. If they sweep us again this year I will puke.

Win the division outright. Give no games to The Jills, Cheats, or Fish.

Playoffs going in and not looking back!!!

Given 1) the Jets heavy investment in Rodgers, 2) the signing of vet GB receivers to make AR comfortable 3) a year more experience of our 2 ROY's and others 4) return from injury of key players Becton, AVT, Hall, etc, 5) the apparent abandonment of "build through the draft", no less than an appearance in the AFC championship game would do it for me.

Well, I suppose you could say that if the Jets lost in the AFC championship that they had a good season but with so much build up to this season, I would think nothing less than the SB would be a success...

Win at least 1 playoff game as I would expect the Jets to be a wild card team.

I've said this year after year - improve on last year and just be competitive - if you do those two things the fans stay engaged, have some hope for the future, and you might just win something!

If we win the division, and win at least one playoff game, I'd consider the season a qualified success, with the proviso that Rodgers is coming back foe a second season.

Expecting a Super Bowl appearance at this point is kind of pushing it on the surface, but things happen during the season that make that attainable, so I'm holding out for the Super Bowl appearance at least.

I have no use for the rest. Old hat.
