I'm super late on this thread, but here we are. Only 77 days until Jets opening day kickoff. It feels like it's right around the corner. Only 5ish weeks until the Jets Hall of Fame game as well. Starting this thread off with the big man in the middle #77 -- Kris Jenkins - Also going with this controversial player who we all hope to be a big part of our OL this year!
Hey at least you started the thread and in time so we could include Joe Klecko who is finally getting his well-deserved induction into the HOF!!!! Thanks!
woman i was was with at the time... this game is OVER, Carlos!! i said... if Jets dont score on THIS drive its over. they scored. the rest is herstory.
What a game! How great to have seen in in person...JEALOUS! I can't remember for sure, but someone like Arnold Swartzeneger was visiting the booth when it looked really bad for the Jets, and he told the announcers he feels the Jets are coming back....the announcers (politely) laughed at him! Anyhow, I had a hottub installed on my back porch and was watching the game from there....yelling and screaming at 1am. Woke my wife up who came out back and asked what the F was wrong with me!!!!
LOL! You're lucky that she or one of your neighbors didn't crown you one. Actually, most of the first half of the game wasn't that great. Miami was killing us. The last half was super exciting however. I may be mistaken, but as I remember it, many, if not most, of the fans had left. My girlfriend at the time and I were a little nervous that if we stayed, the bus would stop running to Port Authority and we'd be stranded in the Meadowlands, but we decided to risk it. It was a VERY late night getting home. I wasn't worth a damn at work the next day, but it was worth it! That's the most exciting thing in sports I ever experienced live. I'm pretty sure that you're correct about the Arnold Schwarzeneger story.
#74 - Nick Mangold Easily one of my favorite players of all time. Here's to hoping Tippman can follow after Mangold and be our C for the next decade
#73 Joe Klecko Lotta BS going on over the last few days with Klecko and Revis. Super unnecessary nonsense by Revis. Klecko finally getting the honor he deserves of the HOF in only a few short weeks.
leave it to Revis to be a dick in this situation. They are both going into the hall, it should be a time of celebration but he's gotta be a dickhead like always. Revis may or may not be the best defensive player in Jets history but the legacy he has left here is tarnished. Klecko's legacy with real Jets fans far surpasses his
I couldn't be happier for Joe Klecko! The HOF was a joke without Klecko. He deserves to be in the HOF. I'm glad that the mistake was finally rectified.
