We used to live in a world where it didn't matter what the powerful said because the echo chamber was much smaller. Memes didn't spread like wildfire across the globe. That world, sadly, is over. Now a few misplaced words can cause a conflagration. Crazy Uncle Fred used to annoy you at at Thanksgiving. Now he can go global and if the conditions are just right he can make a lot of money by being just Crazy Uncle Fred.
You don't agree with him either, even if you think you do right now. Why? Because you never know what he's going to spout off about next.
Irrespective of our generally litigious society talk about asking for a side order of stupid. I never victim blame but I think that when people are that rich they 1) no longer know what to do with their money sometimes because what else is left 2) they have an air of invincibility that blinds them to logic, planning, or reason. It wouldn't surprise me if no-one asked what could go wrong and what happens if it does. The other scenario is they were bullshitted over these concerns, see #2.

I agree with some things, disagree with others. It’s pretty strange to watch the common man getting upset when a billionaire talks about common issues. They’ve been doing it with decades. You just don’t like this billionaire’s opinions because for the first time in our lifetime, they’re not heavy left leaning. Free speech is good. You hate it so much. What you said is so crazy too when you think about it. I have to try to anticipate what someone’s going to say or comment on to know if I agree with them before they say it?
The company’s MO was that “safety hinders innovation” I could understand that point if they were doing something heroic but for a tourist trip its just bullshitting their clients
