A whole season left to go of this shit with Boone. And cashmans roster. Why is Boone manager again? Because he hit the luckiest home run in game 7 Alcs history?
Boone is whatever and I hate how chicken he is with his starters, but there's nothing he can do. It's crazy how absent of talent the Yankees are offensively for a 300 mil payroll. Even at full strength I don't think it's very good. There are clear Cashman guys like Torres/Hicks/Donaldson that will have roles they don't deserve regardless of production and it's killing the production. Relief pitching has also become a weakness, and of course bringing on mostly players with injury history contributes to a loaded injured list. I think the Yankees are in trouble with Cashman and his extension.
John and Susan complaining about the stadium being too loud and stumbling every other sentence. Not to mention the smackdown that will be this weekend by a team that appears to be playing chess to Yankees fans... If this isn't a sign that this version of the Yankees we've seen the past half decade needs to brought to the woods and shot idk what is
Reds tomato softball jerseys today. This is the oldest franchise in baseball and it looks like total ass. Sad. Love that the have Grizzly Adams playing left field for them though.
Judge is Judge, but Rizzo, Bader and Hamilton are the guys saving this team right now playing above expectations. The Yankees will definitely trade for bullpen arms before the deadline. Cashman may have found his first trade/FA outfielder since Nick Swisher. That's how bad he's been at filling the position.
Great win tonight. This team is showing so far they have more guts and grit than last year's team. That's a good quality to have.
Gleyber is just total ass, I'm sorry. Guy can get hot and hit like Willie Mays for two weeks here and there, but he just fucking sucks like you read about in the field and running the bases. I want to like the guy, but he's just not good.
I get that he failed at shortstop, and he's not as good as he was hyped to be, but he's still a 3 WAR player who unlike most of the Yankees actually stays on the field. There are a lot bigger things to complain about this team than him.
Yankees aren't going to pay him, they definitely shouldn't. They missed their opportunity to trade him when he had value. At this point you're not getting much for him so you only trade him if you are ready to move on with another player. He's the leader of the Cashman guys.
