Yeah it’s wild here. Smells like there’s a skyscraper on fire and the entire sky looks apocalyptic.

I even saw a genius wearing a cloth mask when he was walking his dogs.

I walked out this afternoon and immediately looked around to see if there was a fire in the vicinity. Smells kind of like an industrial fire.

Today was worse than yesterday. Some schools had early release. Morris County looked like a hazy planet Venus. Sky was covered in thick smoke.

How the heck does smoke travel all the way to South Carolina from Canada? Wow!

Not trying to be too tinfoil hat-ish but I haven’t seen a single picture or video of these Canadian wildfires and I have various news channels on all day in my home office.

When they’re happening in California, there’s a mountain of this type of media.

LOL. Careful, wherever you got that idea from is probably going to be trying to spin this as Chinese plot next.

    (Just joking.)

You can find photos of the wildfires all over the internet. Just plug in 'canadian wildfires' and you'll get your look.

Did you put your useless cloth mask on yet?

I just looked at 3-4 articles. A loooooot of stock looking photos.

Yankees cancelled their game tonight on account of air quality.

So let me get this straight then.

You think the phenomenon widely reported since *March* as Canadian wildfires in Nova Scotia and Quebec has actually been made up to cover a heavy smoke pall in *June* that covers most of the Midwest and Northeast at this point?

What is it then? Bigfoot and Aliens got together for a cookout and this is what it smells like over half the continental USA when that happens?

I'm just curious what possible Biden-related conspiracy you think could be behind a haze that stretches to the horizon in all directions?

Oof, cloth masks generally do strike a nerve.

I didn’t say anything other than that when it happens in the US, there’s mass media and social media coverage of the actual event. We have a smog that might reach Georgia and the actual event that’s causing it isn’t being covered much at all.

A society that questions is a good one. I know you’re a big fan of the China model where everyone shuts the fuck up and believes what they’re told and does what they’re told.

Clearly this is the work of the Trilateral Commission.

JV. I also thought about this today. Fucking smoke is dominanting our lives yet not single shot of actual wild fires. I am pro mask but I find this weird.

It’s not an anti-mask stance to say that the box of $4 cloth masks you can buy anywhere these days do virtually nothing. The fibers of it are simply not made to stop particles small enough like the dangerous particles this smog contains.

Go get a N95 or paint respirator if you want something effective.

As far as all of this shit goes we better be sending water tanker after water tanker up there to help these fucks. It’s just the beginning of their fire season.

We get this shit in Vegas when there are fires in California and Oregon but this seems much much worse than anything we've had to deal with in years air quality wise. I went to a Chargers/Texans game about 15 years ago when there were fires burning all over San Diego County. It felt like the apocalypse and smelled like bad BBQ

Our air quality was listed as moderate around 6pm . Said that it should only affect those with existing conditions. So I went for a run. I definitely felt it when I got back. Dry throat, irritated passages and chest. We’ve had this before when smoke made it here from out west. This one is crazy though

I’m really not sure what good a mask will do. If you can still smell it, it’s getting through. Then the mask is slowing exhale . Just stay indoors as much as possible.
